Week 5 is over onto week6, time to think about the Cavaliers, and their spread offense. Can we defend it better this week, sure hope so.

If ironton had played beter comp in weeks 2 and 4 maybe the dpread would not cause so much concern.

Everyone probably needs to remember that Ironton is a D4 school that played a undefeated D2 school and gave a fair account of themselves, certainly not up to their full potential but all the same a fair account. Logan has only given up 41 points this year..Ironton has 10 of them and that was against Logan's first team as well. Ironton is preparing itself for the playoff season, facing larger (and in Logan's case a much larger) schools.

Isn't Jackson a division II as well?

Kantuck,

No reply has it right. What a whiner. Ironton posters come in and show no respect and then want to be treated with class. The losers show proper respect. Then the winners will be benevolent. it does not work the other way around. logan toyed with the Tigers. It was obvious ironton had seen nothing like the Logan attack all year.

Why didn't Ironton play up to their full potential then? Does SIZE scare them?

'Everyone' was Ironton fans that I was talking to, just to put things in perspective. You people from Logan really diss your own program when you say stuff like this. You want to be thought of as a good D2 program now but when someone acknowledges that you might just be that, tries to show you a little respect by saying that it was no disgrace to lose to, you're all over that person and jump on them.

So, what do you guys want to be thought as? an up and rising quality football program or a joke that's a shame for any school to lose to?

2OLD

you mentioned Ironton having a week schedule on another thread that was locked out.

You make me laugh.....

I guess your calling these teams week........

Nelsonville York......4-1...D5 REG19...#3
Wheelersburg........5-0...D5 REG 19...#4
Ashland, KY..........BEAT 3-0 Russell 36-10
I'll give you the Canadian team.

I guess we won't really know until we finish the season and get to the playoffs.

Logan is a good D2 team don't deminish their accomplishments by slamming on a D4 team you beat 35-10, about the same score you beat two D1 and a D2 school.

Ironton will be just fine and make it in the playoffs even after losing to a good Logan team.

Seems as though everyone has congratulated Logan on the victory now get over yourselfs and move on to next week.

This thread was LOCKED because of the truth. Someone had to clean up a mess he created.

Oh Buckeye my point remains that the league would be better if all teams scheduled up and improved their level of play. Obviously Logan is leading the way. Logan places the same problem ironton did back in the 80's. Good football team not getting much support from the league.

Hammer,

The funny thing is I like the Logan home grown talent. Those transfers looked like the rest of the ironton team. Not quite ready to play against the Chiefs.

i dont think this league will challenge logan to its full potential.

they are way too powerful and deep.

but it is upto the rest to play some good football and bounce back. i heard the jackson gahs game was good really didnt see a win coming but hey thats how the ball bounces sometime...

AS i watched the ironton game last nigth i only had one question. The same one i had last year. Why don't they pass more? It was the only way they could move the ball Fruday night.
