You'd think someone with such a bad case of Tiger Envy could spell Ironton right every once in a while.

TigerTownTurkey,

That week one game has been a rivarly for you guys for how many years now? I know Wheelersburg pulled off another win this year, but doesn't your Fighting Tigers own the record?

Many of us just scratch our heads up here concerning why the present day SOC II don't offer your Fighting Tigers and The Trojans a slot? You both are close and are much smaller schools compared to the past.

The same goes for the SCOL with us? Our longest drive in that league would be to Clinton Massie in Clinton County by Wilmington and Madison Plains in Madison County. The rest of the schools are fairly close to Chillicothe. Greenfield McClain, Hillsboro, Washington C.H., Miami-Trace and London. The MSL-Buckeye would be even be a closer league but they have 8 teams already in it.

With Zanesville leaving, I guess our SEOAL will be an 8 team league next year playing a round robin 7 SEOAL Football Schedule, unless someone else jumps ship and leaves the SEOAL all of a sudden.

But in all other sports there will be a 4 split North and South Division format.

In the South

Chillicothe will rotate to the North for 2013-2015 seasons
Jackson will rotate to the North for 2011-2013 seasons
Ironton
Portsmouth

In the North

Logan
Warren
Marietta
Gallia Academy will play in the North for the 2009-2011 seasons

Gallia Academy / Jackson / Chillicothe will rotate to the North Division every 2 years.

One game at a time CAVS :!:

GO CAVS :!: :-D

BWH,

Glad to see you got your computer finally booted up. I think ironton could lose again and retire more computers in Lawrence County. I hope the tigers make some changes from that game plan from last week.

2old, i agree with what you and many others that are saying ironton needs to pass to lamb and morris more, but thats up to the coaches to make adjustments. but my point is that to me, it looks as though ironton will be much better through the final stretch of games starting with chilli this week. Seems by some film that logan should do very well in their game against zany this week.

im headin to bed

Good luck to both Logan and Ironton the rest of the year.

Ironton layed an egg last week??? Are you kidding??? The yoke is on you.

I am amazed at some of the stuff you post. You go on and on about Gallia beating jackson but you say ironton layed an egg. ironton was dominated by a much better team. Plain and simple Logan was by far the better team.

I go on and on about Gallia beating Jackson huh...Funny I don't think I have said anything in that matter...Another thing that is funny is that you spend more time on Ironton's threads than you do Logans....That Tiger Envy has got you bad huh...I am done wasting my time even replying to your CRAP....

LDF,

If your tigers do not play better they will lose again this week. Looks like you like to ride the wrong horse.

I posted that ironton was heading for another loss. They seem unwilling to review their mistakes and will probably just make the same ones this week. Unfortunatgely LDF thinks just because ironton always blasts Gallia they are somehow a good team.

Whatever the outcome of this game, it should be a great ONE to watch, between these two respected SEOAL Schools. I really like our chances in this match-up if our team plays like they have been the past few weeks.

Come on CAV Fans, where are you all at? Not many posting on this thread this week. Lets support our kids in this great match-up.

Good luck to all the players that will be on the field this Friday night at the Hernnstein :!:

IIronton has the tools but does not use them. 3 yards and a cloud of dust won't work anymore. Ask yourself this, would Woody Hayes offense work @ OSU today?

Army, Big Walnut was NOT bigger than Chilly... the Cavs just outplayed and outhit them the 2nd half of that game. And, GAHS4ever, correct statement... after watching Sheridan in week 3 @ Chilly, it was obvious on offense, their kids likely only had to know 3-4 plays to the right AND left, but they were executed perfectly. This game is still fairly simple, even with all the new "spread" and "5-wide" offensive schemes that have evolved: do what you do until the other team stops it... even if your opponent knows what is coming, it really doesn't matter, if you are able to do it better than they are able to stop you from doing it. Two of last year's state champions (St. X and Newark Catholic) couldn't have had more "basic" offensive "schemes" if they tried. With that being said though... if you have the "horses", loosen the reigns and let 'em make plays. Good luck to both teams friday, and Go Cavs!!!

You are exactly right. It doesnt matter what a coach calls he could call a great play or a terrible one, but no matter what it comes down to execution. Ironton could call 14 pass plays in a row, but if only 2 are caught then it doesnt matter. Ironton has the players and the talent they just need to execute better.
