Geee i work a little bit and this thing goes nuts. In some cases I will consider the source. Read this quick everytime i go off topic my keepers eliminate my post. So much for fairness. The botom line is Ironton is a shadow of their former self. i want them to improve so they can provide competition for the Chiefs instead of Logan dominating every game. This challenge is also out there for Gallia if they want to improve and quit hiding behind injuries. As long as you have 11 you have a football team.

I served as the Chaplain at the 120th Chaplain Detachment (Team B) at the 643rd ASG at the Whitehall USAR Center near DCCS formerly DCSC. Then I went on my first mobilization with the 423rd QM Battalion out of Warren, Ohio.

That would be the one.....

Supported those guys many times in the past. I remember when they went to GITMO, right before I deployed the first time. What years where you with them?

I was upset...Really thought about making a career of it..

2old,

We have disagreed a lot on here, but I am starting to be a believer in scheduling up. Something that usually Ironton does. But the Canadian Team? As for Gallia, I understand the Point Plesent Rivarly, but Vinton County over the past few years and Wellston this season? I know our alma mater Wellston only plays Gallia Academy for this season, but I am starting to see the results in our kids team the CAVS by playing up. Especially the gut check they played in coming back up at Zanesville after being crunched by Sheridan.

I know our game will be a great one Friday Night.

Hopefully pulling off another victory against Ironton.

One game at a time CAVS :!:

loyaldevilfan,

Sorry to hear that. I served for 30 total years. Both on AD and in the Reserve Component. Are you going to the Gallia-Portsmouth game? Check out BiggDogg from the Portsmouth Fan base. He was cooking out at the Trojan game. I think CAV86 got a hamburger from him. They sound like a great group of folks from Portsmouth. Good Luck this Friday.

I hope our CAV Defense plays like they have been doing as of late. If they do, it will give Caleb and our offense a really great chance to win this game against Ironton.

Army,

Some things are just not meant to be... I really enjoyed serving and I enjoyed the experience I got....I know everytime Portsmouth has come to Gallia I have went over and talked to some fans and they are a very friendly group of fans....Portsmouth is a fine program with a fine fan base so no suprise there.....As long as I don't have to work I will be there.....It is sounding like it is going to rain so I need to be getting my rain gear out...lol

Army,

All I want is for the league to get better. That certainly includes the Cavs. i respect the nonconference games played by the Cavs. others need to take note.

I wonder how some of you will act when YOUR A.D puts a Canadian team on the schedule????? After all there are alot of Ohio schools doing right now. Not just Ironton or the smaller schools in OHIO. I am sure it will be ok then....

DAC10,

Not putting down the Fighting Tigers for playing a Canadian Team, but look at the possible options to gain computer points in non-league play within our State.

Good Luck this Friday!

Don't know much about points for playing Canadian Teams, but I like our CAVS over Ironton by 1 or 2 scores at the Hernnstein this Friday.

This funny to say there are alot of Ohio teams scheduling Canadian teams. Compared to games pl,ayed in a season it is miniscule.

LDF,

As far as points since it is a given victory. The Canadian teams are a cash cow. But come on it insults the players. Players want competition. They know when they play a patsy.

Not looking for a fight, but were you there in the first half? Logan scored at will. Pretty sure they did not punt. Logan came out flat in the second half. And still won the game 35-10. Here is the truth. If ironton scores that and makes it 28-17. the final score clearly would have been 42-17. if not more. the other point is if Lutz has passed more in the game it would have been possibly closer. When ironton went to the pass i thought they were an impressive team. I know the Tigers could not block Jon Neff but beyond that they looked better passing than running.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- all right , back to this post. my computer has been down. and i nevergot to say this. now i will . lets deal in facts, not fantasy points logan never scored. you did not score 42, or even more . though i'm sure logan was trying to. so lets revisit mike lamb's td pass. he was clearly in. at that point that would have made the game 28-17. with 1-1/2 quarters left to play. but that touchdown was negated. and then the tigers scored again later. which would have made it 35-24. i can't understand people saying this did not play into the outcome. it very well, could have been the spark, hat the tigers needed. you acted like you were shooting fish in a barrel. just had to let you know, that i know. back on topic. i look for this game to be a barnburner. when we win out and you falter with zanesville. i'm looking for a shared seoal championship for the tigers. but we gotta bring the goods friday. YTB. :-D
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2MUCH, SINCE YOU IGNORED THIS ON PAGE 5. I'LL BUMP IT UP. CAUSE I'D REALLY LIKE TO SEE AN INTELLIGENT RESPONSE FOR ONCE. YOU BLEW OFF THIS TD, JUST LIKE THE REFS. AND I WOULD LOVE NOTHING MORE THAN TO SEE SOME MAC/SEOAL ACTION. WE'VE PLAYED LANCASTER, CHILLICOTHE, COLUMBUS DESALES AND BISHOP WATTERSON, WASHINGTON DC ARCHBISHOP CARROL HIGH SCHOOL, CAPE, BELFRY , KY. WAY TOO MANY TO MENTION. WE AIN'T SKEERED. I PROMISE YOU IT WOULD BE BETTER FOOTBALL, THAN YOU THINK. AND WE STILL OWN YOUNGSTOWN MOONEY. CAN YOU SAY THAT, ANYBODY. :-D

I doubt that I will ever be wearing an Ironton Fighting Tiger T-Shirt. :-D

Kantucky II,

Get your group of I-Town Posters together at halftime by the food booth near your side of the field. I met some of them two years ago. ?

Kantucky II,

I'll buy you a coke and hotdog. I would also like to introduce you to my son who is a future CAV in the second grade this year at Allen Grade School.

Yes Ghostwriter will be coming up to the game

dac10 -

I would criticize our AD the same way I have Ironton. May Ironton posters have tried to defend, even going as far to say that it is a "good game."

If we got in a situation where we HAD to schedule the game, I'd come out and say it's a weak opponent and a bad game.
