Great job BUCKEYE’S with the BIG WIN.
Let’s get ready for the Spartans and win this TVS Championship.
I'm glad you all didn't bring that cannon,I don't think I could have stood all those booms. Congratulations to the Buckeyes on a well played game and good luck on the rest of the season. You represent the TVC well.

The Buckeyes played extremely well tonight.
The boys upfront dominated on both sides of the ball, the defense was incredible, and Derrick Arnold was .......
well............ he was just Derrick Arnold!
I will start the talk now........................ Arnold for TVC MVP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know there are still games to be played, but if Arnold continues his current pace, he MUST be the league MVP (I don't care if he is a Junior, the kid flat deserves it)
Belpre was very classy tonight (as always) and good luck the rest of the way.

nybucksmom-
I know you might be a little biased since you married one but just let me echo the sentiment, the Belpre team and fans always behave in a class manner.
It is a breath of fresh air to debate who is going to win and why, without it turning into an ugly conversation of who can degrade who the most................. CLASS ACT Belpre (I said it last year when you beat us, and I'm saying it again when things turned out a little better for the Buckeyes)

4 HORSEMEN...Yeah I am! lol! ;)
But, I really have met a lot of Belpre fans, mostly through wrestling. Several of their football players wrestle and some of us N-Y fans have had a lot of good times with some Belpre fans at wrestling tournaments. It's funny, cause we are really big rivals in wrestling, but we always manage to get along. Their head wrestling coach was my husband's practice partner in high school. I've come to know some of Packard's family and they're really nice folks. And that's just a few I know.

Maximus,
I do not have the W/L pct. for NY coaches, but if you like stats here are some from the time it was just the Nelsonville Greyhounds.
These are just for SEOAL games, not the whole schedule.
1925 1-4-0 Edwin Stoltz
1926 3-4-0 E. D. Harris
1927 3-2-0 Floyd Stone
1928-29 5-6-0 Geprge Marshall
1930-32 1-18-1 Chet Hannahs
1933-34 2-6-0 Julian Yantis
1935-41 2-42-2 George Abraham
1942 0-7-0 Richard Carter
1943 0-7-0 Claude Blair
1944 0-7-0 Carl Dupler
1945-48 4-22-2 Byron Eby
1949-51 4-16-1 John Paul Abel
1952 1-5-0 Jim Chenevey
1953-55 6-12-3 Lowell Cole
1956 5-1-1 Charles Wyda
1957-60 0-27-1 Bob Penrod
1961 0-6-1 Lowell Cole
1962-64 3-17-0 Bob Sheskey
1965 0-7-0 Ed Keating
1966 3-4-0 Dave Boston
That's all I have. Hope it gives you some stuff to mull over.
I've spent more time in that OU library than Buckeye96 could even imagine.

Unless N-Y stumbles ,Arnold will win the Offensive MVP . I think he is deserving ,but I have to say that Matt Lockard is just as deserving . To the winner go the spoils though.Loss in OT may have cost him ,but Im sure he isnt worried about it he is just concerned with four more wins.

I've seen them both the past two weeks and I would have to give the edge to Arnold. They are both very good but I think Arnold is the TVC poy on offense. I'm glad we don't have to face either of them again this year.

i think everybody who has faced Arnold is glad they dont have to see him again this season....

Congrats to the Buckeyes on a sound, fundamentally well played game. When you take care of the little things on the field, then the bigger things fall into place alot easier.
The Arnold boy is very good. I hope some the colleges give this kid a good look. Of course, his line paved the way and deserve a gold star for their play too.
Best of luck and good health to the Buckeyes the rest of the season.
Belpre, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, tip your cap to the Buckeyes and lets get ready for Rosecrans.
LETS GO EAGLES!!!

Thank you to the folks from Belpre for your kind words about Arnold.................
His play on the field speaks for itself, but I will also tell you that he is an even BETTER PERSON than he is a football player (and he is a pretty darn good football player)
