The Devils definatley picked up some confidence Friday night and are starting to beleive in each other. Ethan Moore will only get more confidence as the season goes on. I think this should be a great game with the Devils coming out on top. The Devils mixed it up well last night and are proving they can move the ball. There 96 yard drive was great especially with a young QB. GO DEVILS

Portsmouth has lost to some good teams, but after 5 games we still are a team that hasn't really been consistent in any facet of the game. The special teams, defense, and offense have all had their ups and downs, and combined with some untimely penalties and turnovers have resulted in the Trojans posting a 1-4 record.

I do think the Trojans have improved, but then about every team has improved at this stage of the season. And I maintain that we even though we are playing a number of sophomores, other teams are doing the same......for instance, Wheelersburg's QB is a sophomore........I just get tired of hearing the "young" thing.

I would love to see Portsmouth put together 4 good quarters of football vs. Gallia Academy.......something they haven't done vs. anybody yet. If they do, of course they have a chance to win. If they don't, they won't win.

It will be a long drive from Columbus, but I plan on being there.......hopefully I'll get a chance to chat with GAHS4ever and Jottings.......two fine gentlemen and avid supporters of the Blue Devils.

GO TROJANS!!!

Portsmouth is much better than the 1-4 mark. I feel that Portsmouth will win this game. Wouldn't it be something if they could win out ??? I'm not saying they will but, stranger things have happened.

Congrats to the Blue last friday... That never say die attitude that they showed is impressive... that is twice now this year they have played like that and that shows alot for them...Seems to me like they are starting to click a little bit and will definately make the season that much more interesting...Good luck to both teams and I hope it is an injury free game..

Hey FIDO,

We got to Portsmouth Spartan Stadium right at kick off time. We parked behind the visitor side so that's the gate we went in. We went over to the Portsmoth side at half time to buy some pop and something to eat, but did not see Biggdowgg or Ozzieohio.

If Portsmouth can throw against Gallia they should be in this game. I like the Trojans in this one. Just because they didn't quit last week against our CAVS. They kept on playing. Plus, they have a former CAVALIER making some big plays in the backfield for them. :-D

But, with that said, Gallia Academy turned defeat into victory against Jackson last week, so this game can go either way, it's going to be which team wants it more.

Good Luck to both Teams :!: :-D

GO SEOAL :!: :-D
