Unioto 3
Circleville 2

Unioto's reward is an extremely good Chillicothe squad on Thursday, but a tournament win was looking very unlikely 3 weeks ago, so it's been a nice turnaround.

These seeds are once again laughable ... how does Waverly end up ahead of South Point with a worse record overall and against like opponents. SP beat Burg and tied Minford both of whom Waverly lost to. SP also went to Gallia(the 3 seed) and beat them and held a lead on them late in the game at SP before losing. No one does their research on these things it's all buddy system. SMH

Well I just did some research, and you mentioned that SP had a better record and with like opponents. But only half of that is true, and that's the SP had a better record. SP's opponents combined record was 85-106, so their opponents won 44% of their games.
Waverly on the other hand, their opponents went 117-100, so their opponents won 54% of their games. They did share some common opponents which you used, but just like in all sports, you can't just use common opponent results to make factual decisions. Match ups, weather, injuries, all of those could have taken place in one game or another.
That's a pretty significant margin there. So maybe the coaches actually did do their homework and didn't rank them, solely based off record.

The good news for everyone is, it's tourney time and everyone gets their chance to prove people wrong and survive and advance.

Falcon in using the ossca site it does not include teams from kentucky's records as it shows Boyd County being 1-0 with their only win a 4-3 win over SP. Boyd is actually 13-3 and playing for a regional championship this weekend. Russell finished their season I believe 9-7 and was eliminated in regionals. I understand your point that waverly maybe played better Ohio teams but the Kentucky teams are solid that SP plays but they never get credit for those wins, ties or close losses. Another thing I always like to look at is how a team has played lately ... SP is winners of 5 straight while waverly hasn't won a game in over 2 weeks. Either way you're right it is what it is but imo there's no way SP should be going to warren tonight.

Boyd County's record is 16-5-1, while Russell finished at 9-11-2.
