He's a pocket passer. He's not a big guy, only 160lbs I think, but a good strong arm. Lefty too. It's just the way their offense is designed.
Southpaw huh....that is interesting....well anyways back to the game.... I look for Angle to have a big game this week....I am going to make a BOLD predicition and say he will have over 100yards passing and 100 yards rushing.... lets see how many people get fired up about that....LOL

In 2003 Logan played Westerville South, Chillicothe, Pickerington North, and DeSales.
There was some kind of scheduling mix-up that caused the two teams to miss each other. I think when Logan actually signed the Pickerington contract it was before the split, and we agreed to take North instead of Central, but they could only come to Logan week 3 which was Zanesville's usual spot on the schedule.
Jackson was a league game week 4, and DeSales was a week 5 game.
In 2004 Zanesville moved to week 4 and Jackson moved to week 5 when the league went to 6 teams (5 league games).

Wow, this season is going by so fast! Seems like I was just at the scrimmage in Circleville! I hope all Logan fans realize what they are witnessing is a very special season by some very special athletes. Hard to believe there is only one more regular season game after this one at The Chief. I have to believe we'll be back there October 31.

Re: WK 6 Zanesville @ Logan
I finally saw video of last week's game. I believe I heard the announcer say Logan has outscored their opponents 112 - 6 in the first half this season. :jawdropped: There MUST be a scholly for someone on that team, any offers?
Anyone have a link to more video or pics ? I've seen a few on Loganfootball.com and in a thread here (of the construction), but nothing on youtube or other searches.

Locos, I'm not exactly sure of how good Westerville South is but I seem to think they are pretty tough. It seems like in 2003 Logan had a pretty tough non-conference schedule. Do you think it was harder that year compared to now playing Pick North, Lancaster, and Hamilton Township?

Westerville SOuth is "down" this year, but in 2003 they went 10-0 (and also in 2004). The quarterback that started against Logan that night is playing at Ohio State (safety Rocco Pentello) and two receivers (RObin Bailey and Nick Moore) are at Toledo right now and starting for the Rockets.
I would say Logan's toughest non-league schedule in recent years was 2004.
VS Lancater (with 3 D1 Linemen and Jon Carpenter who is at Cincy)
AT Chillicothe (w/ Givens)
VS Pickerington North (THeir best team until this year, they went 6-4 that year)
VS Zanesville (the worst team we played in non-league)
and
AT Gahanna (They were VERY VERY good, best team we played)
That, along with 2003, were our two toughest non-league schedules in the last 10-15 years.
This year, Lancaster is pretty good, will win 6 or 7 games, Pick North will get to 5, MAYBE 6 wins, and Hamilton Twp will probably go 5-5 again. Not as strong as '03 or '04, but not "weak" either.

Im pretty sure Jon Carpenter graduated the year before we played them the first time.

Watched Warren & Zanesville last friday. Z-ville had too much team speed for the Warriors. Logan however can run with them and will flat smack-em, stack-em and pack-em. Long night for Z-ville. Logan by 24.
