Wow. Close call for the Chiefs! Got the win though and that's all that matters.

first off. great effort to the zanesville blue devils.

second. do we not use a running back anymore? is morgan still hurt?

came out flat. offense is getting too cute and needs to get back to a better mix of run and pass. ugly win but still a win. logan showed great heart in making some key stops and key first downs in the fourth quarter.

this probably was the fewest points scored on the the yardage posted by logan in a long time.

So did Zville's defense bend but not break or did Logan turn the ball over?

Zville's coach must have made some great halftime adjustments. Logan must not have paid attention to SoCal losing to a 1-2 team. You gotta get up and be ready when the ball is kicked. 16-14 had to be a good game. Congrats way to go LOGAN 6 and 0.

ironman,
zville played great but logan was its own worst enemy(dropped wide open td pass, fumble on ko return, angle too much scrambling and not throwing the ball away, no running game with a first class rb in morgan, false starts). we just came out flat. i think we threw as many passes as greise did last sunday for tampa bay.

I love football and sports more than most......but no way did I watch Tampa Bay play last week. Yawn.

Sounds like a let down after numerous weeks of going full force.....and a great game by Zville.

Wouldn't want to play Logan next week!

First off, congrats Chiefs on getting to 6-0. Wow, I will be the first to admit that I was wrong on my score prediction. Shame on me. Sounds like the Blue Devils came to play and Logan barely made it out of the locker room. I should have come down this week instead of last. Hopefully this is that one bad, eye opening game that the Chiefs need instead of just rolling over everybody until week 11. Great job guys and I feel a little sorry for Marietta next week. Chiefs on the warpath!!!!

GO CHIEFS!!!!

I think that like most people, I was pretty shocked by how close this game was..... But just as others have said, a win is a win, and sometimes you just need to survive and move on.

I have always felt that when you don't play well, but win a game you were expected to dominate, you can take a lot of lessons from it (You get that "We almost blew that one feeling" without the actual LOSS on your record).

Congrats to the Chiefs and good luck the rest of the season :!:

Didn't think the game would be this close but the Chieftains managed to survive to push their mark to 6-0....and headed to the playoffs........the way Chillicothe is playing, though, Logan could very well find themselves in a real battle in week 10......could be for the SEOAL title.

Looking just at the over-all stats --this game looked to be a blow out.
Take away one pass comp. and Zanesville would have had about 130 for total Offense.

Can't blame it on TOs with it evening out at three each.
Zanesville just played a strong game.

First, let me say GREAT game to the Blue Devils. Coach Grandstaff and his staff. They had a great game plan and the kids executed extremely well. Hats off.

Zanesville played man to man straight up the outside and did a nice job with delayed blitzing to force Patrick Angle to make quick decisions - something he has not had to do all season.

Zanesville took away the plays that have worked all season - THAT is coaching. He made Logan do some different things.

I'll say this, it's nice to have a quarterback whose worst game is 242 yards passing and 84 yards rushing. WOW.

Logan had THREE turnovers inside the 15 yard line (1 fumble, 1 INT, 1 on downs). The Chiefs also suffered 3 BIG sacks in that area.

In the long run, this game was GREAT for Logan. It gave our coaches a chance to see how teams CAN defend our offense, and it gave Patrick a look at the kind speed he will see in the playoffs.

Logan will get better from this game and offered a challenge that no one else on the schedule had done to this point.
