If I'm not mistaken, I believe that Kevin is on pace to gain 2,000 yards rushing and receiving combined this season. I don't believe that anyone has ever done that at Waverly before. I'd say that means he's getting the ball his fair share.

I hope your right Owens, I am the first to admit I am not the coach, maybe I will consider it (coaching) the future for my kids though. That way I can tell people to shove it.

I think what tigerfaner was trying to point out that almost all the players are equal with one exception. It's obvious from the stands, can you guys hear what people say up there???

MinnyAckMack10-Well, said, they win and loose, and are all at fault equally.

I'm glad that you brought that up. I am told by people some of the things that are said, but I don't pay any attention to things yelled from the stands. People that do this are like people who post anonymously on internet message boards. My username is D Owens because I don't want anyone wondering who is making the comments that I make. I won't post a comment or yell something from the stands at a ball game that I won't say while looking the person in the eye. This was REQUIRED behavior at "Big D's" house when I was growing up.

I wouldn't want anyone wondering what I think of this comment; IT IS GARBAGE!

Coaches better not listen to what "fans" say in the stands. If they did nothing would get done. I have my opinions on things just as everyone else does, but I'm not the one putting in countless hours with these kids. The coaches know what each kid is capable of and what happens during the week (practice) can have an influence on game day.

I'll keep supporting the program and let the coaches do the coaching.

It amazes me how good the coaches are when a team is winning and how bad they are when a team is losing. Unfortunately, you only hear about it when a team is losing.

Trooper:

I told a coach Saturday that I learned two things from going 10-0 in 2006. First, even when you win ALL of your games, there are still people who gripe and complain and think that they know more than the coaches do. The second thing I learned is that I'd MUCH rather listen to it at 6-0 than at 3-3.
