I think people just put peake down because they are not as good as last years team. They are still REALLY good. with that said, i dont think davis will beat hill that bad. they are friends, i believe. davis generally only puts beatdowns on coaches he doesnt care for.

Has River Valley ever beat Chesapeake in basketball before?

Chesapeake- Not sure if RV has ever won against Chesapeake in Basketball. I just would like to see a good game instead of a massacre. I saw Chesapeake vs Gallia and it took Peake a little time to get rolling. They still beat Gallia handily though.

I remember when Peake brought an undefeated team into the old River Valley and was sent home with it's first loss. While I am not predicting an upset I am a believer if you lace them up and come to play who knows. I am sure we have seen crazier things.

My hope for the new year is that RV begins to get those one or two bounces each game that have them coming out on top by one or two points instead of the other way. There is a lot of pride up on that end of the county and I know it's been tough for the Raiders faithful but I am going to make a bold prediction. When they join the TVC Hocking North in 2014, within 2 years they will win the North Division in both football and basketball. I don't think people realize what RV has brewing in it's junior high. They will when they start paying attention to RVs JV football team the next couple years and by the time they hit the TVC those kids will be juniors.

Yes. Not sure of the year but Chesapeake came into RV at something like 16-0 and River Valley beat them. RV may still have been a member of the SEOAL at the time.
