Coal Grove coaches seem to bend the rules often with those "my way or no way" kids..
you have not a clue what your talking about.

Panthers driving for the winning score with 5 minutes left and the score 14-13 and we fumble the snap and the Grove takes advantage. Panthers played a real good ball game. Still making alot of young mistakes, but they never quit and play till the end.

Re: WK 6 Coal Grove @ Chesapeake
I didn't go to chillicothe to watch the Tigers so I headed down to Chesapeake to watch the Grove. I got there at the end of the 2nd. When I left it was CG 20 Peake 13 with 1:48 left. My toddler was throwing a fit so I had to leave.
Re: WK 6 Coal Grove @ Chesapeake
peake driving with 5 minutes left and center snaps football over head of Qb...coal grove recovers
Re: WK 6 Coal Grove @ Chesapeake
Whats the deal with ball hogging CG?, your receivers are there waiting^%$#
Re: WK 6 Coal Grove @ Chesapeake
how come no one is saying anything about coal grove's playing ?? i'm so proud of our boys coming out on cpeakes home field, overcoming awful calls (on both cpeake and cg) and STILL coming out stronger than ever.i cant recall who said it, but whoever said coal groves the only team that is getting better every week, i agree 100%. coal grove, to me, seems underestimated. watch out.

Re: WK 6 Coal Grove @ Chesapeake
#52 fell on a fumble and the official jerked him by the neck and took the ball away from him and marked it off for Coal Grove. It is very clear on the film and it will be taken care of.
Re: WK 6 Coal Grove @ Chesapeake
i didn't catch the ref touching the chesapeake player, but i'll try and watch the news tonight. but i remember one call in particular that happened more than once. chesapeakes offense took way more than thirty seconds to start they play on at least three occasions and no delay of game* was called. then when coal grove gets the ball, the officials were VERY aware of the playclock. im not saying the calls on cg werent correct, but there were a whole lot of no calls until way later in the game.

I have to say the officiating stunk for BOTH teams. Geesh, it is probably one of the worst I've seen in a while.
Re: WK 6 Coal Grove @ Chesapeake
Coal Grove racked up 85 yards in penalties - most of which were obvious. That's unacceptable.
I'm surprised no one is whining about the play where Coal Grove took the snap from the Panther center before he could get it to the QB and it was ruled a fumble recovery. I know the purple fans went crazy when that happened.

yes that ref will more than likely never ref again. . .the film is horrific . . he was simply embarrassed about a bad call
he threw the kid, the kid that had rightful possession of the ball. . and then gave it to CG!!!

Up in the press box, they were saying that Davis would probably report it.
My grandfather was telling me yesterday that when he played back in the 50's, that was one of their big plays - trying to time the center's snap and instead of going for the ball, going for the QB's feet.... It must have worked because they didn't lose a game his senior year
