Ideas to Raise Money for Athletic Boosters!!!

You have to also remember that there are lots of Alum who no longer live in Gallia County that would be interested in helping out as well. Problem is that we dont have any communication. I have never been contacted by either the Booster Club or Alumni Association. I guess I could be more proactive (and I have in some cases). I guess what I'm saying is that if there was a fund raising event, I wouldnt know unless I hear it second hand through friends or family back home. Can these groups start an email or address list to communicate to people outside Gallipolis? JMO!

I live 1 block from the football field. I knew they were raising money for the new field,but not once have I been approached or received a letter from anyone asking for a donation. If I had not heard it second hand,I would not have known about it.

Would love to see gallia get a new stadium to be proud of, These players and fans deserve it, Got to talk to 2 fine gentleman last night at 7th grade game and they pointed out a picture of the proposed stadium mounted on top of the concession stand.

AS FOR GAHS, THE ATHLETIC BOOSTERS (OR A COMMITTEE WITHIN IT ) HAVE BEGUN AN ORGANIZATIONAL EFFORT TO RAISE FUNDS TO BUILD A NEW FOOTBALL STADIUM WITHIN THE NEW ATHLETIC COMPLEX. THERE HAVE BEEN A FEW MEETINGS AND A FEW DONATIONS. THE COMMITTEE WANTS TO GET ALL THE DETAILS WORKED OUT BEFORE THEY BEGIN PRESENTING THE PLAN IN HOPES OF DONATIONS. THE ALUMINI ASSOCIATION HAD PREVIOUSLY TAKEN THE LEAD ROLE BUT THE PROJECT HAS SINCE BEEN SHFTED TO THE BOOSTERS.

THIS IS A MAJOR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN (NEARLY 5 MILLION) AND WILL NEED ALOT OF SUPPORT FROM THE BLUE DEVIL NATION. I AM CONFIDENT MORE DETAILS WILL COME OUT IN THE NEAR FUTURE....
