Will Alexander have enough players to field a team? Talked to a guy at work last night and he said they are dropping like flies over there. He also said this happens a lot this time of year, errr season I mean. You know, with NY on the schedule this week and all.

this cracks me up for the simple fact that you must not be smart enough to know just what direction albany is compared to urself...

i will say you guys are rediculous. after alexanderspartan got the boot there has been nothing but ignorant post from ny fans. i dont care what the record is, i was always taught about respect and good sportsmanship. you guys are supposed to be grown adults and obviously have learned nothing in your youths. its still funny that you say this stuff behind a screen name. it must make you feel like your the best in the state to beat up on small teams, when every year that you do manage to make it to the playoff how many games do you make it into the playoffs?....enough said. you may beat every other team around, but you cant beat anybody who cant even make it past the 2nd round.

GO SPARTANS..

:122246 At least 2 dozen will suit up,but that is enough to take on your mighty Buckeyes, you see, all it takes is for NY to look past this game to think of the playoffs and BAM you fall down like a nut! :aaaaa8 :aaaaa8 :aaaaa8 :aaaaa8
Got my boots on,may need hipwaiders before this is said and done! :-D

I am happy they got rid of alexanderspartan because he was very nasty with his post. In todays world, fuel to the fire is not a good thing. There will come a day when fueling is going to lead to a death because of the rivalry between the two teams and the hatred that the fuel brings. I hope that these kids have good heads on their shoulders and don't come out to try to hurt anyone but each team tries to win the game. I look for there to be many hurt players after this game just because of this anger that is being shown by(suppose to be) adults...Be safe young men, play clean, play with heart and good sportsmanship...someone will win and someone will lose, let just do it with pride and not hatred..

:aaaaa17 Can't we all just get along? I am having fun, there is no need to take somethings so serious. This is football and all the kids work hard, play hard and they all (every school in the TVC) get my respect.I root for Alex, doe's that mean I can't root for anyone? No.. But when Alex and NY play I root for my home team Alex and if I cant take the heat then I would stay off the chat board.I know some people take this in a different way,I don't,only when there is talk about personal stuff, kids then different story.Right now this is to me having some die hard jab's from fans,I see nothing but a good time going on.So calm down everyone and get along for crying out loud.
Back to football, Spartans will come to play so be prepared as this is the odd week,by the way,why is it every time I drive past Burger King it smells,Oh forgot its Nelsonville.

for the most part i would say that it is just a joke. but it is no different what has been said than what alexanderspartan was said. there has been many attacks on alexander. same as him attacking boston. i joined this site for the same reason that everyone else did. to have fun. but constantly reading about how much better NY is than alex starts to get under your skin. as far as the ranked in the state nonsense, if by chance you do happen to make playoffs you will lose the first round just like you have every other year.

i eant to comment on this before but forgot. this whole thing about revenge is about the player who was not allowed to play due to grades correct? if so i just dont understand how you can hold the coaching staff at alexander responsible for pointing it out. if our coaching staff knew how is it possible that yours didnt? this is all what i understand if i have made a mistake please correct me.

GO SPARTANS!!!

AtownWarrior, it is my understanding that the ineligibility was common knowledge to the folks at Alex, and wasn't to the folks at NY. Is this irresponsible on the part of NY? Yes. I believe the point of contention with NY fans is that this information was withheld until the completion of the football season and not disclosed earlier in order to inflict a stiffer penalty on NY's program. I would hope this is not the case! It is this perception that creates a higher level of animosity. If my assumption is wrong please correct me.

As unfortunate as it is for me to see the spartans take another loss on the season, i believe that its going to happen this friday night!
I would really like to see a good game though. Hopefully the spartans can keep it to 21...
NY - 35
Alex - 14
