Since my husband is in the Guard unit over in McConnelsville, maybe I can get him to bring one of those ADA missile launchers from over there. That way when the cannon melts down, we can still shoot something!

As for Alexander, at some point you have to STOP TALKING ABOUT YOUTH!!!!

Every year, Alex starts the season saying, "We are the REAL-DEAL this year," then they lose a few games, and the focus switches to "next year" because the team is "young".

Yes, you have some very nice young talent there right now, but so does everyone else. You really can't get it done with just ONE GREAT CLASS of kids.......... You need multiple years to create a champion.

Alexander has an excellent Soph class, but Andrews, Easterling, and Cunningham (all starters) are Soph's for NY, their freshman class is excellent, and did I mention the fact that ARNOLD IS JUST A JUNIOR

4 horse- all I can tell you is, Alexander is young this year. So you just wait till next year. Alex will be the real deal next year, cause they are young this year. Oh yea, I forgot, they also have the best coach ever in this area. So to recap, Alex is young again this year for the 5th year in a row, and they have the best coach in the area who always has them ready. So look out!
That's my 2 cents, which is worth 1/2 cent in todays economy

i will say that alexander does have the best coaching staff in the area. which is often knocked down because of their record. while they are quite young this year, the past two years the program was not young. If alexander shows up to play and can eliminate their mistakes theyll show just how good they are and possibly shock the buckeyes.
PREDICTION:

NY: the NY players get on here read these comments and get over confident. play the first two quarters laid back.

Alex: Coach Arno and McCarty get the troops going and put on a bit of a show.

Final Verdict: Dr. phil is wrong (again). the game turns out just like sports moms soaps, very dramatic. NY gets down early and the Spartans hold on to the win.

NY: Plays this game with a chip on their shoulder from the opening kickoff.

Alex: Arno skips the league meeting and sends McCarty in his place once again.

Final verdict: Ny hits hard enough to make coach Gabriel nervous as he sees his basketball season going down the drain.

NO WAY DOES NY COME OUT FLAT IN THIS ON.


Your coach saw to it for that not to happen.... Thanks again coach A for putting some sting back into this game for the Buckeyes. Now it has more meaning for the Buckeyes than it had in years....

It is great that you have a lot of respect for your coaching staff, but you are young and they are also the ONLY staff that you know.

Anything is possible in the game of football, so yes Alex can beat the Buckeyes..... but don't count on them SHOCKING anyone. NY is ready to play, as are your Spartans, (I am sure)

Amos- here, here bro. I heard that story from someone who was with the coach while the meeting was going on. Kind of comical if you ask me. Also heard about the extra motivation from said coach. I would say the ouchies might be on for the best coached team in the area tonight.

Its pretty sad to think most of you are out of High School and still act like your 16. Matter of fact your like the Ohio State Buckeyes, beat up on the teams your suppose to and then get embarrased in the big game. Yes you have beaten Alexander every year in one sport, congrats and you win the TVC Ohio more than any other team....Good Job, but win Playoff time comes you get poop on by the better school's. So pretty much your the Alexander to the playoff schools, congrats!!!

I know NY has not won a playoff game in the last few tries but I know they do get to the playoffs and they have won more playoff games in their school history than Alex has league games since they came to the OHIO div. They cant be alex of the playoffs because alex has to purchase tickets to get to the playoffs.

It is funny that everyone wants to BASH the Buckeyes for going to the playoffs and getting beat.

The key here is that NY has at least MADE THE PLAYOFFS

Basically, every team starts the season with the playoffs as a goal........... Not everyone makes it.................. Those that do, have a real sense of accomplishment. The teams that make week 12, accomplish that much more, and the teams that win it all are called State Champions (the greatest accomplishment of them all).

Does every fan want their team to WIN a playoff game or a State Title.......... absolutely!

But I will say this ........... You can't dance if you aren't invited.................. I just want to make sure the Buckeyes get that GOLDEN TICKETto the next season......................... and you know that is what YOU want for your team also
