Was it high school students? I've been around awhile, but I didn't know they had a victory bell.
Now im not saying this is true... but i know that a bell was stolen from northwest back in the 90's and most of the blame i heard from people was directed towards burg, and i always noticed a bell in the cafeteria during bball games and wondered if that was northwest's it may not be but it always struck my curiosity!
Why would Wheelersburg steal Northwests bell? For that matter why would any team on Northwests schedule steal their bell. It's not like you need to get motivated to beat the Mohawks. Not a knock, just the truth.
Also, as for the signs being posted along Dogwood Ridge in the Burg for this game, if I remember corrrectly there were signs all along Rt 335 last year when the Pirates played out there so what's your point. And the large banner has been put every year for quite a while. It's called having pride in your school and your teams.
