I was in doubt too, but after the game was over, I thought about it and imo it made sense for two reasons:
1)It wouldn't have been right to put the fate of the game on the shoulders of Erwin (who was awesome, I might add. Congrats lil buddy!). They got there as a team and the team as a whole should have been responsible for the outcome.
2)South Point's defense was getting pummled up the middle. Woods was getting 4,5 and 6 ypc on that drive and they just looked worn out.
And there was a bunch of stuff that just went wrong for SP on that last drive, starting with penalty on the kickoff. Also - what really killed them was the fact that they used all of their TOs earlier in the half - so they had to go for all those big bombs.
