These people from West that are predicting West by a boatload keep the BB material coming.
As for the game, and I have seen both teams play. Waverly needs to slow the run, and needs to have sustained drives and big plays. This will not be an easy game to pull the upset in. But it is at Raidiger Field. And IDK what makes Waverly good at home but we are 17-3 in the last 20 I think.
West's pass "D" looked shaky v. Rock Hill in first half that needs to addressed. Roback will exploit that if he has time, which is my next point. The Tigers have to give Roback time and West has to contain him on the outisde. This game has the makings of a classic I hope it lives up to the hype.

Until Waverly has a defense show up they will not win! The offense struggles behind a poor line! The special teams struggle, a lot of times burning time outs just to get eleven on the field. Waverly is struggling and not just the players, but the reason why I think they will get better these last few games is because the coaches have desire and will not quit!

Will they beat West- NO- West 42- Waverly 21. Lets face it Waverly players and coaches need to look in the mirror and take responsibility for the way they are performing- and not blame one another! They may not win this one but they can play better and that motivation needs to come from the coaches. This will spill over to the rest of the year and maybe we can sneak an upset over Wheelersburg or at least see major improvements!

Good luck to Waverly and West. Two good teams that will battle friday. Roback will get his yards but the West defense is just too good. West wins IMO. What I would like to see is someone exploit Wests corners. They are small but very athletic but I think they can be beat by a good passing game. No fade routes pls! Get a good sound passing game and I think the SIders are in trouble. You cant run against them so passing is the way to go. Oline has to make it happen for Tigers but I dont see it. If it does, West could be in trouble. Its up to the Tigers Oline.

West wins by two scores....Triplett has his boys rolling this season and is one the most underestimated coaches around

However....after reading West Senator's message...I will have to say that Waverly has some bulletin board material....never a good idea for a player to talk smack on here if you ask me

If it takes a picture or statment or article on a board to motivate you....your not a football player, trade your helmet and pads in for a flute and go join the band.

Painful, It seems as though some of our boys have giving up.Come on guys,3 more games to go!Lets win out!
Serious question for a couple of our coaches.First I am not trying to flame at all. I fully support our boys.I apologize if this comes out wrong.
Why is Roback 8 -10 yrds away from the ball in his safety spot? He is not running up to the ball, but seems to run away from it.Is that a coverage assignment? Is he trying to keep them from running outside? Again an innocent question. He just seems to be playing away from the ball instead of going after it.
Thanks
Go Tigers and GO BUCKS!

tigers11,
That is the least of our worries. He shouldn't even be playing defense at this point of the season. Put someone else in to gain some experience. All Roback will do on defense at this point is get hurt. If the front 10 can't take em down he doesn't need to be there to try.

I know it appears some of the kids are giving up and that would be the natural feeling. They have to keep working hard. Life lessons are learned by not giving up. Keep working hard and finish this thing.
