Southern 41 Eastern 27
Southern 41 Eastern 27
They didn't even finish this game last year due to a brawl... hopefully the boys can get in a FULL game this year. Thoughts?

Re: WK10(Saturday): Southern @ Eastern
Throw the records out the window when these two play. Gonna be a great game!

Re: WK10(Saturday): Southern(7-2) @ Eastern(4-5)
Does southern risk playing anyone? This game means nothing other than the rivalry which Is a big deal but the playoffs are bigger! I say they don't risk it and the eagles win in tight one
Re: WK10(Saturday): Southern(7-2) @ Eastern(4-5)
Haven't been on here for awhile question for eagle fans, what happened last week? I thought belpre had packed it in for the year! And even if they haven't I figured you would win by at least 2 scores. Did facemyer get hurt or somthing?
Re: WK10(Saturday): Southern(7-2) @ Eastern(4-5)
They are still playing for seeding... In the right situation, a win could get them a home playoff game. Drew Pastuer has them at a 30% chance at a home game with a win. A #4 seed gets a home game. They are most likely a 4 or 5 with a win and a 6 or 7 with a lossoldgrumpy wrote:Does southern risk playing anyone? I think eastern will give southern all they want Saturday night.. with so many contenders playing Saturday they really won't know where they stand

A win doesn't just get them a 4 seed, they ND to win and then I think they jump Trimble to 4 seed and Trimble comes back to southern.I have been told just barely jumps them I can't see it but not a expert either.Anyway no one gets hurt this weekend and 90 percent chance we see each other next week some where.

If I change my Sat night game, this would be the game I changed it to. I have never been to Eastern's stadium before. I have watched them play against Newark Catholic a long time ago.

If you watched them play Newark Catholic in the the playoffs years ago then you have been to shade river stadium because that's where they played at.LICKING COUNTY FAN wrote:If I change my Sat night game, this would be the game I changed it to. I thought they played at White Field back when Newark Catholic was an independent.TVC wrote:If you watched them play Newark Catholic in the the playoffs years ago then you have been to shade river stadium because that's where they played at.LICKING COUNTY FAN wrote:If I change my Sat night game, this would be the game I changed it to. The score was something like 60 something to zero.

I must say, these teams have a "history", both ways, and it was a good clean game, players helping each other's players up, pats on the backs/helmets and such.
Refreshing.

Speaks volumes about the coaching staffs IMO...
And that's the bottom line, b/c Stone Cold said so....
