Another Bug week in the SOC Play. Minford and West will battle for playoff contention tonight. Both teams very sound and quick. Should be a great ballgame. Good Luck to both teams . Stay injury free. Does anyone know if this game will be on the radio? Thanks.

Actually, Minford should be ok getting in at 8-2.

West is dangling at the #7 spot in Reg 19 being undefeated.....so they may be up the creek without a you know what after tonights loss to Minford.

I would be really careful since one of your star players throughout his high school career didnt even live in the WEST school district!

And the district he resided in was........

drumroll...............

Minford!

Man did that one blow up in your face!

Glad to see you acknowledge West has some star players. The difference is West doesn't have to recruit, their program does that for them! For heavens sake Minford can't even get the length of their field right, that tells you how much of a priority football is there.

Acutally, I have alot of respect for many people from West. My brother in law is from West, I coached the Bricker kid in baseball years ago on a 14U AAU baseball team, and think he is a fine kid as well as athlete. I also have immediate family from West.

I am just telling you that you are the pot calling the kettle black on this issue.

WOW, I guess the saying is true, ignorance is bliss. Seems awful funny that the OHSAA didn't think Minford did anything wrong, of course who am I kidding, we all know that west siders are smarter than the OHSAA. Oh well the past is past. But how bout west, they ever have to forfeit those first two games? And btw, the fences never moved at Minford so I don't know how the field would've been short. Maybe you should keep your mouth shut when you have no idea what you are talking about, of course we all know that no one from the west side could ever keep their mouth shut. Minford wins this game, west has no idea. Hopefully west thinks Minford is "slow" because of the films.

I have to agree West will win by 14, but should be a great game!

Watch out for the three head monster!!!!

There really must be a dividing line in Scioto County where if you live on one side of the line you have a brain and if you live on the other side....well I guess you are a Sider and don't have much of one if any. I know what you are thinking, we might be dumb but we are the Siders. Yes, that is impressive and something to be proud of. Well guess what? After tonight you will be 7-1 and so will the Falcons. Minford by 7.

What's the problem in Nelsonville? I guess it's because you could never beat us. We drove over there and beat you on your field in 2003 and owned "THE BEAST OF THE EAST" when you played in the Scioto Valley Pee-Wee League. Get over it!

Well... After last week at least most falcon fans have come to the realization that this will be a close game unlike predicting a blowout against W'Burg. West on the other hand has no grasp on reality yet. Tonight should provide a good judge where West, Minford and W'Burg stand.

I will be extremely suprised if this is a blowout either way. if so, one of the teams will just give the game/football away.

Good luck to both teams and let's hope for a great southern ohio injury free football game.

3 headed monster   that cracks me up. Minford D is too fast and will control the game, West only gets to the red zone 1 time late in the game. :122246

Minford 21
West 6

I think both teams will have their chances. The one that takes advantage when they get there wins this ball game.

Unlike last week, Minford must...must...must...must take care of the football. They must also be comitted to play every single down. Defensively use their speed and swarm the football. With their speed they must also attempt to return punts (only 1 out of several that were returnable last week) and do a better job on return coverage.

West must account for Osech and tackle the Falcon RBs. If QB given time to throw the football he is dangerous. Can't just plan on sticking the RBs with the pads and expect them to go down cause they will bounce off and continue down the field.

Conditioning could be a huge factor in this game. Minford must control this football game!

Well tonight is game night!!!

Let the boys do the talking on the Pasture of Pain tonight.

Either way you go there is going to be a heck of a game.

But I don't see the people of west being that "fired" up. For I am a Falcon Fan! but I work on the West Side. Not that many Sider Shirts.

Go Falcons!

I just want to point out one thing to the West fans about Minfords soft defense....and Burg fans take no offense to this as it is not a jab....When the announcers for 99.3 were deciding the "Monroes Collision Of The Game" it was between two Minford players not one of Burgs. Generally speaking the winner of the game gets the awards in the postgame show, in this case both plays were hard hitting in nature and if you dont think that Minford will hit you, well you have another thing coming. With that said you step up into the hole, with your big boy or not and we are gonna knock your D**K stiff, come get some, cause were ready!!!  You guys make me wanna vomit, wait til tonight and wait til week 10, you will find out how bad you are NOT!!!

Minford fans please don't take it to heart tonight when West beats the doors off of your beloved team. Remember it is just a game.

P.S. please have your grounds crew remove all cow patties before kick off. Thank you
