I have not seen Portsmouth play this year. I would have to say that if Portsmouth has had trouble scoring against Warren and some other teams, they would most likely struggle vs. Ironton. I like the lineup Coach Lutz and his staff has right now. Edens runs the ball hard and Freeman and Brice can alternate with about 8-12 carries a piece and that keeps them fresh. When Ironton's offense has a good bruising type fullback, the offense clicks big time.
I also liked how last friday ironton was willing to pass on first down in their own half of the field. It didnt happen much, but enough to keep Jackson off balance a bit.

Ironton needs to come out fast and punch Portsmouth in the teeth. If they can jump on the Trojans, like they jumped on Jackson, I like Ironton by 3 TD's.
I think the key again will be Edens. If he can get about 80-120 yards this week, Ironton wins.

Ironton should be able to have their way with P-town this year, but who knows, strange things happen in rival games. I will take Ironton though with a score of 35 to 14

i think ironton will be hard for anybody to beat if they take it one game at a time, and execute like they did against jackson. has anybody heard anything about their injured player cody huff. i sure hope he's okay.

I don't know where you guys come up with some of this stuff on here. I was told that two of our coaches scouted Portsmouth just like they do all their opponents and they practice to play each opponent, not just one or two. On that note, Good Luck to the Tigers and may both teams have an injury free game and display better sportmanship than I see on here between the fans.

The Trojans D will be able to keep it interesting, and hopefully the excitement of a Portsmouth, Ironton game can inspire the O and the special teams. It's the biggest game of the year for the young Trojans; a victory would be huge and could really be a turning point and something to build on for next year. Come on Trojans tell them Tigers to TANK THIS!!! In what may be the last meeting between these 2 at Spartan Stadium.

This will be great giving the Trojans a loss in the last Tiger-Trojan game at Spartan stadium. Especially if we can blow them out that would be pure ownage.

Good luck to the Trojans. I hope they can keep it interesting. This year may not be going the way Trojan players and fans had hoped but, this team will be set for the next couple of years.
