Its time for you to GET SERIOUS! Athens will not beat Wellston at the TVC's. The Rockets are way too loaded this year!
1.Wellston
2.Vinton
3.Meigs
4.Athens
5.Trimble
6-9. Who Cares!

I think it would be best if you went through and seen how these teams have faired against each other this year before you put schools like Nelsonville, Belpre, and Waterford at the bottom. I think you are going to be in total shock with your predictions.

1. Athens
2. Belpre or Nelsonville or Waterford
4. Wellston

Belpre, Nelsonville, and Waterford have the best quality wrestlers. However, each give up alot of forfeits. But the their quaility wrestlers will maintain the team wins. At the Meigs Tournament Gallia finished first by winning 2 actual matches against Belpre and with all of Belpre's forfeits. The results from that tournaments was:
1. Gallia
2 Belpre
3. (i think was vinton county)
and then the rest and I don't know the exact places so it is not fair for me to put it on here and be incorrect to those schools.

You may be right with the order however I still like Athens as #1 I agree with the rest. I based this on the Fairland and gallia tournament.

at meigs belpre forfeited to some of gallias better wrestlers and won against one that had less than 10 matches in so don't make it sound like we won by numbers alone as far as the tvc wellston looks to have some really good kids from what I seen at the gallia inv We wrestle athens on the 14 so I will have a look at both teams athens is very well coached as is wellston should be A nice matchup

ok...lets really talk about true preictions on how things will unfold. This is my opinion on how things are going to turn out.

1st Athens-due to number of kids who will place in top 3
2nd NY-from 103-130 they will have strong finishers, Norway and Coon will get the job done also
3rd Belpre-have decent lower weights and middle weights. Packerd is looking strong along with Wiggers.
4th Waterford- has very strong wrestlering but not sure about the numbers
5th Trimble-has hit and miss wrestlers everywhere
6th Welston- has numbers but inexperianced wrestlers
7th Vinton County- dont know much about them maybe they should be higher
8th Meigs- has a lot of want to but not enough experiance
9th Alexander- first year program

I think that Waterford is going to suprise some people. They are solid at 103, 112, 119, 130, and 135, with 125, 140, 145, and 189 looking real good.

I think Lockard will beat young, and I'll be surprised if Norway makes 152.

Couple things Efaw 103 Waterford could be a top contneder, and Young has beaten Lockard once although I believe it was close. Also Norway only weighs 162 so 152 is not a stretch however we will see on that one he is aloud to go to 149. tsracer who are the other waterford kids did they return from last year?

Also wanted to mention 112 Corey Law Belpre is very good and could shake up this class. 112 is probably the deepest class in the TVC.

Fulton at 160, Baurerbauch at 189 or 215, we also picked up 4 more wrestlers. Two have wrestled before.

Tricc, I agree that 112 is going to be a fun one to watch. Get serious, J Smith is at 135 for Waterford.

I think the 112 class will be very fun and intense to watch. Very good wrestlers in that class. I honestly think anything goes in that class. There are a couple more experienced wrestlers in that class but the younger guys can easily capitalize on any slight mistake. It really should be fun and where ever they finish in the end they all should know it is a very very tough weight class. Good Luck to all the 112!!

Efaw has improved everytime I have seen him on the mat. Good kid. I think he will do well. At this point right now I would have to say NY's 103 is the one to beat. Only my opinion.

Mighty Mighty Devils by no means did I mean to take anything away from Gallia they are a good Team! No question. Sorry if came across wrong in my statement.

I would like to see Billy Crock from Waterford and Corey Law from Belpre wrestle again. That was a good match that came down to the last 10 seconds.
What do you think tsracer91? Did you see that match? I thought it was a really good match at the County Quad.

The Johnson-Law match will decide the tournament champion tomorrow at Logan Elm. If Law can beat Johnson, he will prove his ability at the Varsity level.
