Pike County Holiday Classic should be super!

After watching Piketon struggle with ZT and Waverly come out very strong in their first two outings I would have to think people will have to reconsider Piketon rolling through this tourney.

Also, Eastern and Western have started pretty strong.

This one should be a dandy!

Western has played Valley and Franklin Furnace Green 1 win, 1 loss.
Eastern has played Coal Grove and New Boston 2 wins.
Waverly has played Minford and Rock Hill 2 wins.
Piketon has played Cincy Montessori, Zane Trace, Huntington and Columbus Mifflin 3 wins, 1 loss.

What does this prove, absolutely nothing when it comes to playing for the county championship. Yes, Piketon could easily be 2-2 , but what would the other teams be if they played that same 4 game schedule?

I can see it now Piketon with the lead by 13 with a minute to go an roback dribbles between the tall trees of piketon and scores two touchdown to win the game!! Then all the republicans in piketon go back to work mad at the officials because their was motion in the backfield and they voted for Obama. I must admit I was suprised to read where Waverly beat Minford. Did not see that coming!

Holiday tournament will be interesting.....Eastern will have their hands full in the first round against Waverly.....but I bet Waverly will have their hands full a well. Should be agreat game!

im pretty sure piketon will have a tough match up against the indians.....western has pretty much unstoppable post players...i would say western/piketon will be a good game

I think that if westerns guards start playing like i know they can, that they could be a very tough team... Smithson played a really good game and shanks is always having good nights... I think western could make an upset.

Hope your right, but both of them in the same night? Can't see it happening. Also, I wouldn't count Waverly out,against Piketon in the Finals(if it comes to it), it looks like they are coming together pretty good....
