Unioto JH Soccer Tournament

Well we waited as long as we could, but with Alexander also running a tournament and some of the new local programs not wanting in, we will be running the 8th Annual tournament with only 5 teams.

Here is the schedule:
Wednesday October 15
6:00--Waverly vs. Zane Trace

Thursday, October 16
5:30--Waverly vs. Unioto Purple
7:00--Unioto Gold vs. Chillicothe

Saturday, October 18
10:00AM--Unioto Purple vs. Chillicothe
11:30--Unioto Gold vs. Zane Trace

We will re-bracket from there to set up a single elimination format tournament.

I will fix the teams in the schedule, but here is the breakdown of those games:
Tuesday, October 21@ 6:00
Thursday, October 23@5:30 & 7:15
Saturday, October 25@6:00(Championship)

I have a question I hope someone can answer...
Are Junior High Basketball teams permitted to have scrimmages? If so, why are JH Soccer teams not allowed to scrimmage?
I have seen several posts on here that said they saw so and so in a basketball scrimmage and I was just wondering about this...

Yes they are and I believe football has scrimmages as well.

I stopped trying to figure things like this out a couple of years ago though, the state is weird about how they do everything dealing with soccer. Although, my team has had a tough time getting a full 14 games in the last two years(for both squads) so getting scrimmages could be really tough.
