Not to take away the great tradition the N-Y Buckeyes have had over the past 38 years, but a 2OT win at my alma mater Wellston this year, 1OT win at Meigs and Athens gave you a run for your money this past week at home. Ironton is big and physical as always.

I have to go with the Ironton Fighting Tigers for two reasons.

First, they are SEOAL-South.

Second, they have to many weapons. If they lose, it will shock me.

I am sure the Ironton Fighting Tigers will prevail over the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes in this SEOAL vs TVC-Ohio match-up

would like to see our neighbors down 33 win this one. ny, clog the middle and tackle murphy. thats it. you do that and you may pull the upset. not much of a passing game for itown so play the run. use the logan game film as the manual on how to win this game. dont worry about all the negativity from itown posters. i am used to it and it so far its been all talk for a while now. itown is big dont get me wrong, but they seem to wear down when you get into the 3rd quarter. i think it will be closer than most but itown still holds on. 34-24. good luck to both teams and hopefully no injuries.

100 percent ironton would win by 3 tds if we were playin at the tank but we are not. we are playin in the gladiator arena. so dream on.

doesn't matter any more about home cookin' ....the state picks the officials that are at each game, don't see much home cooking no matter where it is played...although...sometimes those home cookin' officials luck into the wrong location and mess it all up....that's when the taste gets real bad....

Nelsonville is a great small school team but probably will have a hard time against the Tigers. I remember a day when the Buckeys would have played them even up and maybe they will surprise everyone. Remember the Buckeys are probably supposed to lose and the Tigers are supposed to win, but the players probably dont know this. Hope this is a good game and injury free. I will take Ironton 45-14. I hope your folks don't listen to qualified101 about Murphy as gospel. Because he is not the main back or offensive weapon their team utilizes. If I was your team, I wouldn't depend on the Logan film alone either. I would be looking at the Jackson and Portsmouth game tapes. That's the Ironton Team your Buckeyes will be facing. A team with a mission to make the playoffs. A team that is on the hunt and is now back on the winning track, after back to back losses away at Logan and Chillicothe. Their first loss came against rival Wheelersburg in a close one. They will be like no other team your Buckeyes have faced this year. You can count on that one.
