boilermaker appeared to be defending NY. He/She just picked Ironton to win, which is reasonable IMO.

NY will have to use a lot of window dressing to win this game IMO. The playcalling must keep Ironton off-balance, must break tendencies, and must get Ironton's bigger players out of the box. There is no shame in spreading Ironton out to run, and if they don't spread out and cover, throw the ball on early downs. Also, not every pass play has to be a 5 step drop with the ball thrown 30 yards downfield.

NY is small and quick. They will not just line it up, pack it in, and run the ball down Ironton's throat.

This should be a really good and exciting game. Irontons line is starting to take control of games. The backs are running hard and holding onto the football. This has all the making of a instant classic.

I have read all the posts and I have got to hand it to NY for scheduling quality teams this year for their non league games. This is a great game for NY to play. Win or lose I think they will be in the playoffs. This is exactly the types of teams they need to play to prepare for this. Good job. I dont think this is the first game NY was the underdog this year. If I remember right they had no chance to travel to Piketon and beat a very good streaks team. I dont think ny is looking at how they can survive but how to win. Ironton is a great traditional football team and NY will have to play a great game to be in a position to win. Good luck to NY and becareful on the long trip for the Ironton fans. Its only going to be in the 50's friday so watch for deer. If you hit one bring it with you and we will tailgate all night!!! Road kill cafe!

I am going to pick Ny in a 22-18 victory. Arnold will have at least 175 yards on the ground. And Barrick will get at least 35 yards through the air. If we can force the pass then "Chance Fox" will have atleast one interception. Last week it took the Buckeyes a couple drives to adjust to #44 Tope of Athens but after that he couldnt do nothing. I think we will do the same with Ironton.

I sit in your stands about 4-5 games a year,but I never wear NY colors,just cant,sorry. The Bishman tried to get me there during Alex game but I told him I can't,not this time.
No I wasn't in the dog pound,at home maybe,didn't make it to game due to me having to work in Springfield,OH Sat. morning,but did listen on the radio. Every player on the field needs to get pumped up and swarm the Tigers Offense.Go Spartans,I mean Go Buckeye's

Im with you tt, If trimble beats us (NY) I want them to win to show that we were beat by a very good team. If we beat them we root for them for the comp points. either way I root for Trimble 9 games a year. 10 and 11 if they get to the playoffs. We rutters need to stick together. bucksfan08 ,no I am not mad .If N-Y wins it would not only be great for your Buckeyes,but for the TVC Ohio . Because the TVC Ohio cant beat anyone in the SEOAL. When was the last time a TVC Ohio team beat a SEOAL team other than Athens ,who in now a member of the TVC OHIO. Im guessing Belpre over Warren 3 yeras ago, and Warren is not a top team in the SEOAL actually closer to the bottom than the top for sure.
