Marrietta has a good QB but Ptown MUST give their QB time to pass or run. If I were Coach, I would put one of those WR at HB and let him run. PLEASE COACH CLIFFORD, get off your A## and let one of those boys get the ball in space!! Marietta to win, just keep doing what your doing.

Will this be the one game...............we regroup, put it all together and win for the first time in 2 months? This program needs a big "W"in the worst way!

My previous post was removed from this thread for some reason! ??? I will take Marietta in this one over the Trojans! Northwest and Portsmouth have the same record in our local area! That's kind of a interesting fact!
Key To The Game:
Trojan offense can not protect against Tigers defensive rush! If the Trojan protection of the qb can be adequate; then they may be able to outscore the Tigers and bring home a win! If not they may have to wait 9 months till next season to reach their next victory!

Josh Myers has not had time to throw all season long, I dont see it changing in the last two games of the year.
Re: WEEK 9 ~ Marietta AT PORTSMOUTH
Marietta will be our last shot at a win this year. Western Brown is loaded this year. They are 8 and 0, And there running back had over 1600 yards before this weeks game.

Re: WEEK 9 ~ Marietta AT PORTSMOUTH
marietta doesnt have the same defense they had when they played warren
marietta was down to 2nd and 3rd string players on defense
they only allowed 200 some yds of total offense agaisnt zanesville

Re: WEEK 9 ~ Marietta AT PORTSMOUTH
That would be a total of 212 to Zanesville, which is only 40 yards more than undefeated Logan gave up to them.
Marietta's D played the best they have played in years Friday night at Zanesville.

What you are saying is true. Portsmouth and Norworst have identical records but Portsmouth plays a much stonger schedule than Northwest. I would like to see any SOC I or II team play in the SEOAL. They wouldn't fair to well in my opinion. Even though Portsmouth is having a down year, I would still take them over EAST. But, we will never know who will win that game since East plays NO ONE!!!!!!

Also, as for this game....Portsmouth WILL WIN. Haters better enjoy the down year for Portsmouth now, because, next year Portsmouth is going to be really good again......

Re: WEEK 9 ~ Marietta AT PORTSMOUTH
Portsmouth has good athletes. Somewhat mouthy on the field. But can put together a solid game.
If Marietta goes with the Warren did it, so can we attitude. They will come home with a big fat L. I am in hopes that Coach Schoub and his staff keep the Tigers focused on the fact that any given Friday night you can get beat. And does not believe that we beat Warren we can't lose. The Tigers can score on Portsmouth and I believe they will. So I will take Washington County by 17. Good Luck Tigers."if warren can do well so can marietta"
