If you try real hard with that same imagination that you predicted the fear thing... I'll just bet you could imagine the "Dislike" as well! ;-)

Hammer, not Burg in 09!! LOL

Marrietta has a good QB? What defense does Marrietta have? Only wins were against Warren and Psouth (wva).

Portmouth needs to get the ball into the hands of White and the other receiver...

Bubble screens, quick slants. Clifford is killing this team by not even trying to get the ball into the playmakers hands at this point of the season.

If Clifford will just open up the offense for this Qb to pass quickly and get the friggin defense off his back all the time!

2 D1 lineman for Portsmouth. What a joke. They will need to play to their potential this week in a big way! Put them both on one side and run the ball down Marriettas throat like Ptown did vs burg (in one series). DO IT!

Marietta defended the bubble screens and quick slants from Zanesville last week pretty well and only gave up two yards passing on 18 attempts. Coach Schenkel and young Schob have the secondary playing really well right now.

I was wondering the same thing they did it one series against burg, and did it again 1 series at warren. They took the ball down and scored, and never went back to it. Might be saving it for the playoffs.

WOW!!! How interesting that a discussion about football turns to grades etc...Anyway, Trojans are due. They have the talent, just had bad breaks. Several of the losses have been by 1 TD or less. They are ready for tonight. Homecoming win for Portsmouth....

Oh, and as for the comments about Portsmouth playing in the SEOAL and the SOC teams being better...If this is true (SOC better) then why has the SOC refused to allow Portsmouth join. Last I heard, this is why we went to the SEOAL, we kept getting denied SOC because the coaches, AD's etc were afraid of "BIG BAD PORTSMOUTH".

Enough of my rant of the day!!!

GO TROJANS!!!!

it was a neck Injury, I talked to the AD, hesaid he thinks he will be OK, he was moving his feet and talking to them after a little while.

a scary thing though, he laid there for the longest time , and never moved even a little.

hope he is ok, we will be thinking of him.

congrats to the Tigers , and hope you all have a safe trip home.

That 51 yard field goal would have cleared from 60. Congrats to Marietta, I like the offense they ran. There recievers had some great hands.

The reason why Portsmouth got denied to enter the SOC Conference is this: For years Portsmouth was asked to join the conference (SOC II) and their response was that they didn't need to join their little conference! And, that it would not be benefical to Portsmouth!

Then when they start getting their hind-ends thumped; they all of a sudden want in... and the SOC said they didn't need Portsmouth in their little conference! Sorry! My grandpaw said something to me once that didn't make much sense to me then but, as the years passed by it made alot of sense later on! It was; "You never throw anything over your back that you one day will have to face again!" In other words; "Never burn your bridges; you may have to go back!" How true that is. Right Portsmouth!
