More "stats of past heros" (sic)

Dyla shattered the old Sophomore rushing record which according to the Conklin stats I have was 574 by Rob Cooper in 1996. Who by the way had his best game against Southern that year with 166 yards, which may have been his first start filling in for an injured Anthony Collura. (If you remember the 1996 season you probably remember that finger injury from the Alexander game)

Rob went on to become the second leading rusher in school history with 2532 yards. It sounds like Dyla (with the 124 yards rushing his Freshman year) is off to a great start towards capturing the career record. The hard work of himself and his teammates will determine if he gets there.

Only 2,500 yards is second at a so called football school. Thats funny.

Cooper's senior football season was 1998 he rushed for 1,032 yards on 164 carries (average of 6.4 yards). That year Brady Trace threw for 1,205 yards. Trimble has been and will always be a balanced offense. Running backs will not necessarily be featured, and won't get the carries to put up the big statistical numbers that you would see at other schools that are more run oriented. (Trace had about 30 more passing attempts than Cooper's rushing)

The stat that really matters is Trimble was 9-1 that year and TVC-Hocking Champions. Win-Loss records and Championships is what makes a "football" school.

Probably the best combination of QB/TB was Mike Roback and Gene Campbell in 1980. Campbell rushed for 1500+ and I am certain Roback passed for over 1000, but not sure how much. The next year Bruce Fouts rushed for over 1000, but not sure what Mark X passed for. I am sure Warpig could provide us with the accurate stats.

Also, for MTX, Trimble has had some recent success against schools in your league. Larger schools I might add. Now that is what's funny

Everyone is bigger than Trimble.
I threw some blocks for Brady. If he wasnt a QB he could have been one heck of a TB. He was more or less a tailback playing quarterback.

Brady Trace! Now that's a guy that you would have thought, to look at him, he had used up all his eligibility. He seemed like a 25 year old man playing with a bunch of 15 year olds. When he walked into his college coaches office the head coach thought he was there to take his job, instead of to play TE. :122245

People can say what they want about Brady. He was a heck of an athlete. He also worked his tail off in the weight room. Many days he and a few others would be in the weight room lifting weights before school. That's dedication and why he and the teams he played on were successful. MTX don't hate us cause you ain't us. It is amazing what jealousy will make some people say.

By the way, I have also seen many Cats working hard in the weight room this year. Athletes plus great work ethic means trouble for people playing the CATS!!!!!!!!!!

My main question is can two receivers keep the hit stick this week? I hope so, there is nothing better than a WR knocking helmets off.

1000+, I have nothing BUT respect for Brady Trace. He is a rare individual, who did everything you wrote, and more. Plus, he is part of the family. :122245 :122246

Good thing you are the grammar police. Maybe you should learn where to place your apostrophes before you go out and correct other people.
