I was impressed with the Southern crowd as well - absolutly no place to sit (glad I was taking photos - had to stand the entire game).

It seemed like Southern just played around in the 4th quarter.

Hope things turn around for Meigs.

Talk about a nice addition ... Not many teams raid their JV squad and come away with a 6-foot-7 player that can actually play. He looked pretty good last night playing against who I consider one of the better post players (Jesse Smith) in the TVC.

It will be a big plus for Southern having that big body when it goes up against Belpre, who has 6-foot-5 Ryan Leasure in the middle ... Or Fed Hock, who of course has 7' Chris Saylor and 6-foot-5 Max Carney roaming the paint.
