Could be rough going at first. Chesapeake has had a two week layoff and Ironton one week.

Actually I think the Peake is shooting pretty poorly. Lol. Even though they are up 1 their fg% is usually much better. Always had trouble shooting here. Gonna be an interesting second half.

Panthers win 69-66. Good game. Hey rico, I learned an an early age that accusing others of cheating is the mark of a sore loser.

Rico is not from Chesapeake ( Colegrove ?) and his views do not represent Chesapeake fans. From a Peake fan great game by 2 good teams.

That was a game I would like to watch again! Ironton battles and they are physical! Chesapeake shot the 3 better than normal. That made up for the missed mid-range shots. Chesapeake also ran the floor well. I want to hear from all the folks that all they do is bash Chesapeake for being a 1 man show!! I'm pretty sure all 5 Peake starters scored 10+ correct me if I am wrong! I'm guessing Carter was benched due to the injury but the Panthers were still winning in the 1st half while he was playing! Trevor White played a nice roll coming off the bench, and Trey Fletcher has a nice game! I personally cant wait for these two teams to play again!! Tigers keep your heads up your a good ball team and very well coached! And way to go Peake! Nice Win!

I have no idea where is from. I disagreed with what he said. Probably says that about all the teams his team loses to.

GREAT GREAT GAME!!!!

Want to first give big kudos to Kennedy for Peake. Had a man's game tonight. All 5 starters really stepped up tonight....all in double figures and played nearly all the minutes. Offensively, McMaster didn't have his typical game...but WOW on defense! I think he may have had 10 blocked shots! And great job for Mr. Thompson. Way to ice the game at the free throw line with 4.5 seconds left!

Fletcher for Ironton was every bit the man-beast I thought he would be. Peake really had no answer for him tonight...we just had an outstanding team effort to offset his dominance. In fact, Ironton beat Peake on the boards all night long. Don't know exactly why Carter was out in 4th quarter, but Peake had the lead for most of the game with him in. But he is most definitely a stud and a playmaker.

We'll take the hard fought win and be happy with it! This would make a great regional final...a rematch of 2010! Good luck Tigers the rest of the way. Let's try like heck to meet in Athens!

Go Peake

Anyone know why Zac was out most of the 2nd half, was it his ankle?

I edited this pic before I found out Oak Hill played at Rock Hill tonight but it looks like Norm Persin in the crowd.

After the game I had some Ironton fans tell me Carter got in Lafon's dog house and another poster out here said it was for cursing. So apparently, not related to injury.

As for you and Gallia Academy....Peake sleepwalked to a 38 point win. If you guys come out ready to play...you could put up a 100.
