Minford vs. Burg, District Finals

IntheStands- It wasn't clean and a couple of pretty good injuries for Minford.

Minford wins 1-0 in overtime, Evan Price put in the game winner.

Both teams missed PK's in regulation. Price went off with about 15 minutes left with what appeared to be a rib injury, but returned a little bit later. It was a great game, very physical and hopefully the Minford players are better by their next match.

well played by both sides. not many soccer fans that were not routing for one team or the other. good to see a few of the pirates come and play. good luck to the falcons. represent the soc.

It's a shame that the Portsmouth Daily Times hasn't had a freakin' thing in the paper about this game. I haven't been on this forum for a while and had no idea that there were still two area teams competing for the District title in soccer.

Congrats to the Falcons on the win and good luck in the regionals. Represent the SOC and Scioto county well.
