Re: St. Joe 08-09
Thought they looked descent for the first time out. They were missing 2 guys that should see lots of playing time in Caleb Blackburn and Anthony Whaley - both sick. Sounds like they had a good evening and night Saturday also. 2 scrimmages this week - Wends. and Saturday

I can't wait to see the Flyers play this year. If they play hard everygame, and bring the same intensity to the game as they did last year against Raceland and South Point. They could make it to the convo with ease. I hope to make it to a couple practices to help encourage them a little to get ready for the season.
Harvey, Blackburn, Gagai, Basedow should end the season with no less than 10 PPG. Blair has improved, and with the successful season that he had last year, I can only expect greater things from him this year. Blair will be expected to be a leader along with Harvey & Co. Blair will probably take over the point position for most of the year, which will give Harvey some breathing room in order for him to score more often. Unger of course is healthy now, which will help the Flyers down inside along with Blackburn. Others will contribute as well to the team, such as: McCown, Young, Riley, and Whaley. I wish I had one more year with the Flyers, because this is going to be a promising season.

PF what time tonight and where?
I also thought they did well for the first scrimmage Saturday. They missed Caleb underneath. If they were weak anywhere it was on the boards. TJ did a good job but if Caleb had been in there with him pounding those boards it would have made a big difference. The Purple and Gold will be OK this year. Coach Sheridan does a good job with these kids.

Watched them scrimmage Clay the other night. They seemed to do okay. They don't have hardly any size as the tallest kid might have been 6'3". They had one player, he wore number 10 in the scrimmage who was pretty good. Good at creating his own shot and shooting off the dribble. Good at penetrating too. I had mentioned to my brother that he kind of looked like Brigham Waginger and a lady behind said that they were cousins.

The Flyers get things started this Friday against new boston. Hoping that everyone gets/stays healthy this week and get things started on a good note. Any info on new boston?
