Finally its hear. Should be 3 or 4 deep standing room only around the fence.

As for the game, I don't think West will be denied. First half will be a slug fest with 2 great defenses.West will wear down the Burg in the second half. As the game goes on, Burgs small front will begin to tire and will not get the penatration that they normally do. West's big backs will then take over.

Watching Burg on TV, I don't think they can run the ball effectively at West. They will shut down the fullback dive plays and string the Shankweilers (sp?) out on the outside. If Burg can't run the dive plays, the qb keepers and such are ineffective.

I don't know why you guys think burg is so good. Did you see them play minford and how hard of a time they had. I do believe west roled over minford with no problem. All you morons that are saying Burg will win 35-7 or West will win 35-7 don't have a clue.

This game will more than likely come down to the last play of the game. This will no doubt be the biggest game around here for the entire season.

The main thing on the line in this one is the SOC championship and then the possibility of a home playoff game. I think that even with a loss, the Burg is still hosting in week one, where if West loses, more than likely they are on the road.

Hopefully this game is going to be on the internet because I will be in Myrtle Beach on a golf retreat and will miss it. Last year, was down there the week of the Burg-Waverly game and told all of the Burg guys that was down there that not to worry, since it is on 99.3, it will be on there website, but NNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! We put it on there and they are webcasting I think Valley-Minford, so come on WNXT, don't so that to us again.Since I won't be in the area, that is the only way I can listen to it. I told my wife that if it isn't on the net then I'm going to have here put here cellphone up to a radio and I'll listen to it that way.

In reference to someone saying that the game might be on ONN, I'll believe it when I see it. Hell, everybdoy knows that if you don't play North of I-70, they don't seem to care squat about you. Some of the teams they showed on there over the last 9 weeks were just awful and most of the teams around here would mop the field with them.

Burg has the overall team speed. West has fast backs and overall size and physicality. I don't think Burg will be able to stop the run once the game settles in. I want burg to win(lesser of two evils) but I have trouble seeing how they can. It will take more than Shankwiler sweeps against West. Hopefully the Senators oversized confidence will be there downfall. I'm hoping since the rolled a deflated and bruised up Minford team after a devasting loss that the will take the Pirates a little lighter than they should. But unfortunatley after they wake up I'm afraid that west will be too much for the Pirates by the end.
