Now have we played anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!! you tried to run and got one on a offblanced set with a blown assignment at that. Still think we have no speed. you tried to pass and all that got you was turnovers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAME IN LOOKING FOR SWORDS AND MURPHEY AND GOT INTRODUCED TO THE 3RD HEAD OF THE MONSTER. BURG 1 FLAG 4 10YDS AND WE HAD 7 FOR 56 AND STILL MANAGED TO RUSH FOR OVER 250 YARDS..................

Show some class!! You won the game, but nearly as easily as many of you predicted and I'm sure quite a few West fans had a huge sigh of relief when the Burg was flagged for holding since they momentum on their side and was moving the ball. That play went for 8 or 9 yards if not for the hold, which by the way was a legit call and was holding by the QB after he handed of the ball. It was too obvious of a call not to make. West had 4 fumbles, lost one and had an interception, so you all didn't take care of the ball all that well either. West is the real deal and the best in the SOC II for 2008 and I congratulate them on their hard fought win. It wasn't easy for them, but they did what they had to do to win.

You lose with class and you win with class. Something you need to learn.

In all honesty I thought West controlled this game and the score could have been worse on a dry field...Burg just couldnt tackle and needs a dry night for their passing game.

I was hoping for rain, but watching the game I really think it hurt our offense. We didn't run the pistol but a couple times and we couldn't use our speed in the backfield, which is alot better than given credit for. After we got the lead, we just played smart and concervative. I don't think Burg would ever be very successful against our defense. Burg can't run up the gut against us consistantly and without that, the keepers and such don't work. Besides the one long run by Craigmiles where we got sucked in, Burg only had less than 60 yards. Good Defense.

People have doubted West all year. Maybe now they'll get the credit they deserve. They are a very good football team.

Pendleton really grew up tonight. He is an animal and will only get better.

Way to go West.

This game was the first Burg game I have not attended this year. Instead I listened to the game on WNXT. I was very much disappointed in the broadcasting as Roger Gray was obviously touting the West players - even the ones who have graduated and are no longer playing got more mention than the Burg players!

My disappointment was not that West got so much coverage, but that the Burg players got almost none. I could hear the stadium announcer giving the names of the Burg players while the radio announcers were saying at the same time they couldn't tell who made tackles or carried the ball for the Burg.

Not a major problem, but I was very interested in who was in on the plays for Burg.

I have heard Snuffy Smith on other broadcasts and I feel he does a much better job.

I don't recall ever having heard so much mumbling, guessing and simply not reporting what was going on in the game.

Could we have Snuffy for the playoffs? Please?

Burg was definately keying on Swords. I told you, the counters would be the difference. Pendleton killed them on the counters. What a game by that young man. And what about his cousin Compton. Those 2 control the middle at the linebacker spots, and only sophomores.

Yeah, that was very obvious. He is supposed to be unbiased but he has a really hard time in doing so when he broadcasts Wests games. I noticed the same thing on another of Wests games I listened to on the radio broadcast by Roger Gray. He constantly mentioned Wests players both present and past and barely mentioned the names of the other kids.

Come on Roger. You're better then that. You bet your a$$ Snuffy wouldn't do that.
