Actually, I do think we are as good as Sheridan.

I've seen our boys on the field with Sheridan for the last 10 years in the final tune-up scrimmage. And I've seen 10 years where the teams were pretty evenly matched. This year Sheridan scored one more touchdown than we did.

I'm not saying we're "better" than Sheridan, but I think we're in the same league. Remember, last year Tri-Valley BLEW OUT Sheridan and had to score in the last minute to beat Logan.

Chillicothe fans are sure obsessed with 2 years ago. They won a game 31-21 and you'd think they dropped the A-Bomb on Hiroshima or something.

They conveniently forget a 47-18 pasting last year of course.

Every year in this game the Chillicothe fans talk big, the Logan fans talk big, and this year isn't any different.

Don't act like the Chillicothe fans aren't confident and cocky. They have been coming on the Logan threads for weeks saying "Wait till week 10!"

Let's have fun and get excited for Friday night. No reason to get anyone's underwear in a bunch.

Buckeye Cav/Army,

Different username but the same old ignorance shines through! If you think Chilly's defense is going to shut down Logan's offense then you had better just take another toke on the old piece pipe.

I will have to say this one is very interesting as you know Zville has played both and lost. I will say both teams have good QB. This game will come down to the front lines on both sides of the ball and because zville has played both I will give the edge to the Cavs in that department. Still it will be a heck of a game I am sure good luck to both teams I will give a perdiction later in the week.

Locos what you think? give me a score?

I said right after the Zanesville game that they played a heck of a game and had a great plan for Logan. But I also said and still stand behind it that Logan's lines played very well and were at least on a par if not better than Zanesville's. I'd be willing to bet if we could review the game tapes that my opinion would be verified. Zanesville was very fast, ran some delayed blitzes and covered up Logan's skill players well that night. But if we eliminate the turnovers, penalties and dropped balls that are not typical of a Logan performance, that game would not have been close. Maybe it would've been 35-10 or something. I know that sounds like sour grapes or rationalizing and I do give Zanesville their due. What I am trying to say is in comparing Logan and Chili's lines as your are, I don't think it is apples-to-apples. We'll see this Friday night.

I have said the same thing Dazed. Zanesville and coach Grandstaff brought a great game plan to "The Chief" and the kids executed very well. They put Patrick in situations he hadn't seen yet. Now he has seen those situations, and I think he is better for it.

Our offensive line deserves fault only in scheme, not execution. We did not pick up the delayed blitzes that the Zanesville defense brought, but they weren't getting "beat," we just weren't picking up what they were doing. I think our linemen and running backs will react much differently if faced with the same game plan again.

It's a good feeling though when your worst game of the year was a game where you gained 400 yards of total offense.

We left three scores on the field that night. 1 dropped ball in the end zone, 1 TD called back on a questionable penalty (end not on the line) and a fumble on first and goal. All three involved solid drives for which we had nothing to show. Shame on us but you won't see that very often.

Give credit where credit is due...Logan and Chillicothe are both great teams, 7-2 and 9-0 definitely doesn't sound bad at all.

I do think that this game will be fought for and played to the fullest extent possible by each team and the end result will be a close game.

Again, I think that Eric Young is the key for the Cavaliers...if the line blocks and Young can manage 100-130 yards on the ground, I think the Cavs win.

For the Cavs, they need to focus on QB Pat Angle...he's very very talented, has great field vision, and can punch the ball in the endzone anytime he feels the need. If the Cavs can contain him, they'll get their eighth win of the season.

Prediction:
Cavaliers - 27
Chieftains - 24

Not from Logan. Not from Chillicothe.

Logan 38
Chillicothe 17

I've seen both play and both are very good teams. Chillicothe needs to win the turnover margin (i.e. +3 or +4 to win). They must control the clock and keep Angle and Co. off the field. Those 2 things, IMHO, are the most important "keys" to the game.

Wow. No problem! Root away! I said give Z'ville their due;they played a heck of a game. Some people can't take a compliment. I just was saying the closeness of that game was not the line's fault. I'll put my money on Logan's line showing up this Friday night. I'm not one to blow off about Logan like some of the posters but they ARE 9-0. They must be doing something right. Until someone beats them, the championship resides in Logan.

It still isn't real to me that this is the last regular season game. I'm thankful Logan is going on to the playoffs but I wish it could last another month. How much fun has this season been?

Cav 11,
Not a knock on Chilli by any means. If they can do as I mentioned in the paragraph below my prediction, the score can and will be much closer. If not, the game will be a 3 score spread. Control the ball and the clock and the Cavs can pull the upset. I have no horse in this race. Just a huge fan of SE Ohio football. I believe both teams are fully capable of winning.

Personally,
I tend to root for underdogs, most of the time. I hope Chilli wins.... just pointing out my opinion based on the 2 teams as I have seen them.

If Chilli loses the turnover battle, I'm betting that will be most Cavs' fans' defense. Which is precisely why it is so important in this game.

Chillicothe has the potiental to control both side of the line but will they is the question. If chillicothe does this young and knights rush for a combined 250yds & chillicothe wins big by 2 scores but if not its gonna be a long night for the cavs.

You r right the championchip is in Logan and until you are beat that is how it goes!!! I stand bye what I said I still think Chilli Line are better were Logan has an edge is coaching and schem your kids get it they know what they do and they do it well. Also this game could come down to special teams. I feel Logan has the edge dont be surprised if Logan Runs a punt or kick back on Friday.
