Its been raining pretty good for about hour or now. Looking at the radar though, it seems to coming through at a good pace. So we might get lucky and atleast be dry in the air, but I say the ground is going to be nice and muddy.

Here we are a few hours before kickoff and it's still raining. I'm guessing the field will be a mess by the second quarter.

I would like to take time to Congratulate ,the players and the coaches on a fine a season win or lose tonight . This is a great team w/ a great group of seniors. I have had the pleasure to coach and watch several of these young men over the years . I am partial to alot of these kids who have hung out and been apart of my kids lives . Good Luck Cavs !!! I really don't feel that these kids will let this opportunity slip away. I think they will find a way to win tonight against a great Logan team... I'll tell ya.....it is sopping wet with no let up.......No way will there be as many points as predicted way back on this thread.

I'm not educated enough to say who the weather will favor....but I'm going to say it'll favor the team that plays to the weather the best.

I'll make one additional prediction now knowing of the weather........Angle will be a tougher tackle on scrambles and will make a huge play or two with his feet.

If the weather is bad enough to make these teams avoid throwing the ball....then a definite advantage to Chillicothe....enough of an advantage to win.....I still don't think so without a +2 on the turnovers by the Cavs.

I forget what I predicted way back on page 1 or 2 of this thread...but right now I'm going:

I've been lurking on this site for some time and have never really felt the need to post before tonight. While I agree with the statement that the weather typically favors the underdog I am unsure who the underdog for tonight's hellacious matchup will be. Being a Logan grad and devout fan I can lay down what I feel would be a more accurate prediction than many I've seen of late:

It pains me to say it, but it's more feasible than most would like to admit. Birchem's (SP?) leg on the PAT is less than stellar, and if he misses one or two that'd be more than enough to cost the Chieftains the 5pete they so desire. Ball control will also be a major factor tonight, and recovering bobbled balls will be crucial in tonight's game.

That said: good luck, Chiefs, I hope you can score the 40+ that everyone wants you to. Also, of note, it's interesting that 5pete isn't flagged by Firefox's spellcheck feature.
