Wouldn't surprise me if Colton Coy isn't the new Adena HC next season? Currently working on Hollon's staff at PV.

How do you know what goes on at GAHS NOW or in the PAST locos? Want me to tell you? You dont. You dont have a clue. You might listen to stupid people who dont have a clue either. No more than you. So you are going by that or making assumptions...Not solid journalism locos.Perceptions are not reality. You should remember that Spence

Hear they may need a DC in switzerland.
Maybe you'll want to start looking for a job in Switzerland Groundbuck, cause you don't have any chance of coaching around this area again. :o

heard from a good source that ny is going to contact alex penrod. but i still dont see him leaving even losing all the talent they will be losing. regardless, he has done marvelous things restoring the program and wont be judged on wins/losses for a couple seasons at Alexander

any other names being thought of at ny?

Alexander loses everything and Athens beat Alexander's JV 50-0. I could see Penrod leaving

do not think he would leave b/c of lack of talent
he has taken over the youth program so feel he understands what it takes to be successful and building the program

however could see him leave if something more local would open up

gut feeling is he stays in alex and builds a championship team again in 2-3 years

I wouldn't take a lot from that JV game Raider ..... Alex played a lot of freshmen on JV. Remember we don't have a lot of numbers so a lot of what you saw on Friday nights will be back next year..

I think Alex will be in the mix for a league title next year. They may not go 9-1 but they will compete for a league title.

Alexander will definitely have their struggles next season, most teams that lose that many seniors would. As far as impact players, they return Harris, Marks and Hawes. That's it. JV team was unwatchable, I don't care how many freshman were on it. Watched them lose 73-0 to Trimble JV. Believe it was 61-0 at the half. Pretty sure the Jr High team only won 2 games. No way are they competing for a league title next year or in the foreseeable future with or without Coach Penrod.

I would like to see some changes in the Ironton program we have let the caliper of play fall off. Next years players need to hit the weight room. All I heard is how much we hit the weight room all last year but that could not have happened with shape we were in for games this year.
