thats because you've never played for Nelsonville...you dont know anythign about our work ethic, our tradition, our fans, just being on Boston Field on fridays nights is better than playing for any of the other schools around here. I can put money on that. Ask any former player that has suited up for NY if they'd play for any other school. You'd get the same answer i gave and i bet Mr. Arnold would give.

I saw him play against Piketon. He's a beast! I didn't realize he wasn't a senior. He should do more great things for your team next year. I wish him the best in landing a college scholarship. He's definitely got the talent.

I think he's one of the best ever to come out of N-Y! Perhaps if he doesn't have the funding to get to summer camps this year, some dedicated fans would be willing to help. I've seen parents, fans, coaches and athletes pull together many times to raise money for worthy causes in athletics at N-Y. I'd be willing to help, and I don't know him personally. I did go to school with his Dad.

he should go to The University of Cincinnati's football camp, the first day they test your 40 time, shuttle time, vertical, and bench press, they also teach you a lot about your position, also it would be good for him if they are already looking at him for a possible scholarship offer

Derek is very close to my family and he is a wonderfull young man who is very strong in his religion, which I am sure only helps him on the field. He is trully a team person, his nickname is JV because he thinks he is not much better than a JV player. I wish him the best. My son only hopes to be as good as Derek someday, my 3 kids love Derek and he treats them great.

Do you consider Logan being "around here" ? Im pretty sure Logans tradition, work ethic and fans are every bit as good if not 10 times better than yours but thats just me.
