meigs by alot. belpre just does not have the horses. the kicker though kicked it out of the end zone. that is a first in about 10 years of high school football.

If Eitel is correct Meigs would be going to New Lex. to play against the Panthers on the turf in week 11. Certainly not an easy task (but probably a better match-up for Meigs than if they would have to play someone like Martins Ferry.....not to mention a much closer drive).

Warm up the bus for a trip to New Lexington to take on the 9-1 Panthers who lost their first game of the season 7-0 to Sheridan last night. Congrats to Meigs for the history making victory over Belpre. Relish this week boys, not many teams are left playing now. Enjoy the moment. You worked all season for this and now it's yours. Now it becomes survive and advance. (I realize Joe Eitel is unofficial but I've not seen him wrong).
