Can Coach Marquez go out with the upset?

Who will guide the Huntsmen next year?

They should move their JH coaches up to varsity and get rid of the dead weight. Coach Gullion does a good job but he is surrounded by losers.

every coach make's mad calls and so do player's it come's with the game, but alot of the piketon kid's can coach pretty well them selves and the SR's next yr wont let anything less than 10-0 by any means perfection is what they have feed on for yr's and nothin short of that so next yr is piketon's season..... but i think we need to ask the SR's what they wont to run and what they perfer bc's i believe that it will show his team that he trust's his player's and if you trust them and they trust you that's when you see great team's and coach's come together i dont believe it's the coach's yea fan's are going to complain and so will player's but it's not them..... i believe if we run alot more spread this yr and still run piketon's golden formation's and play's but the spread will give us that big play ability that is missing and on defense 4-4 cant guard it all so with the talent and smart kids we have this yr a 2-6 blitzing defense, 3-5,
3-4,4-4,4-3,5-2,5-3,6-2............. give no team a chance to prepare for us bc's with so many formation's and blitzing no blocking scheme will stop it... i hope i see these change's

^^^^^^^ That is too funny. You have said all along that THIS was Piketon's year. Now next year is Piketon's year? You need to quit writing checks with your mouth that your play can't cash. It is even funnier that you believe that the players should be the one's calling plays. You think you could call a game better than Scott Keller? Because if you and the rest of your team are the ones calling plays, then that is just one example of who you would be matching calls with. And there is no way, shape, or form that you or your teammates could match wits and brains with Keller at all. That is total nonsense and an absolute slap in the face of your coaches. To think that you, as a player, would get on here and stoop to such a level means that there is no chance in the world that you will have a successful season next year with that kind of attitude and belief. Go ahead, call your own plays, let those coaches eat you alive. I am in utter disbelief that a player would get on a message board and write this type of nonsense. Way to be a team player and way to support your coaches through thick and thin. Maybe that's why THIS wasn't Piketon's year, and a great reason as to why next year won't be either.

And by the way, good luck to the Huntsmen this week. Hopefully one of our own softened them up for us this week after that huge win for him and his Mustangs last week. And I hope the talk of Coach Marquez going anywhere is just that; talk. I think he does a great job with what little resources and support most people out here give him.

I agree with ligit because if Piketon can put together the talent from our soph's and jr's(jr's and sr's next season) then we will be a tough team that should go deep in the playoffs. We will be bringing back some key defensive starters,Brandon Varney for example, and we have a very talented LB core on reserve that are all soph's this year. We should have a good O if we start preparing the first week of lifting in the summer instead of goofing off until the first or second passing scrimmage.

About this weeks game, there isn't much to say but that our seniors will not want to go out on a losing note.

I agree with Piketon#54 because the upper classmen weren't goofing around but the under classmen were and if any of them(Soph's and Fresh) want to make sure next year is Piketon's year than they need to grow up and learn to act there age OSU Bucks Fan

I thought it was Piketon's year. But i guess i was wrong, Piketon has a lot of talent! A 6-4 record is not good enough for this talented team. In my opinion i thought Piketon was a throwing team, but i guess people thought different. So thats the only thing i feel that could of helped them. So good luck next year Streaks!!!!! Go out on a win and you juniors, get ready for next year. Work hard, cause next year thats it. Just ask the seniors!!!Take advantage of every practice, game, lifting, and scrimmage. This only comes around once..... :12224

hog u miss read my post i said ask the players what they wont to run example (if ray lewis say's to his coach there i see a gap between c gap when they throw the ball and ask to stunt to that gap and let him that brings trust between the coach and player) and every year is piketon's yr if we wont it so plz re-read my message...... any way's sports101 that's were i brought up the spread its going to be hard to replace a great QB like helton so spread will give us a chance with a mobile QB..... and piketon's run game was there this yr but we should have thrown more.... so SR's get your W and show the JR's and SOPH's whats up on that ball field and how to set the tone for next yr

Hogfarmer,

There were kids calling out the coaches and quiting on them after the ZT game, but look at what we did after that game, we came so close to getting our first SVC title in along time because we decided to come back and stick with them, and OSU Bucks Fan, I mistated the quote about the goofing around until the first or second passing scrimmage. I ment to say what pepper blevins said for me about the soph's and frosh not acting there age. I know the Sr's weren't goofing because they realized that it was there last chance to make it happen and the Jr's wanted to try for 2 SVC titles in high school. :)

Piketon will always have trouble winning it because minus the basketball boys and the few that powerlift the rest do NOTHING until may and by week 8 theyre in football shape Westfall is a football factory when the seasons done the boys that just play football will prepare for next year.

So to Piketons returners next year you all better train or more of the same.

I agree Tyler definitely needs to look at upgrading his coaching staff. He has his dad, Rockwell, and Chester. Then it goes downhill fast.
