Indeed...

Waverly beat Burg 35-33 in OT
Valley lost to Ironton 53-50

Wheelersburgs just a tough place to play....they had a gameplan against Valley and Waverly and almost pulled em both out.

Waverly beats West by 30 tonight and West beat Burg. Hard to win at Burg.

Exactly!

West 51
Burg 47

Waverly 35
Burg 33

In OT

Barrick is a great gameplanner and doesnt mind taking the air out of the ball...and carrying out the plan. Tough place to play.

Wow burg loses 3 games in OT . Just think if those were W's and very well cld have been . They would be the talk of the SOC right now . Don't count Barrick and company out come tourney time . They find a way to win when it matters most .. And will still win there share of games this year

I'm sorry your kid isnt getting enough minutes....but please explain to me how a team that is 3-0 in the SOC, and has lost 2 games by a COMBINED 5 points, is being outcoached? When would you have called the timeout? The Indians only allowed 8 points in the second and third quarter. If the Indians could have hit the broadside of a barn, it would have been a runaway (no disrespect to Burg) but Valley wasnt great from the line and hit 1 shot outside the paint all night.

You recieve this weeks...

C'MON MAN!!

I talked to a buddy of mine that was keeping stats at the game and he said Valley hit 1 shot outside the paint all night. Burg hit some bombs and very tough shots to do their scoring. The Valley defense must have been pretty good. I don't know that calling timeouts will help you hit shots and it sounds like Burg didn't have many runs on offense.

Honestly Mr Basketball, you sound like a bitter man that wants Valley to fail. Must be awful that Valley keeps finding a way to win. And that team isn't close to playing their best ball! Have a Merry Christmas Mr. Scrooge!

Coop... It sounds like me and you talked to the same guy! Lol! He told me the shot chart was quite ugly!

Mr Basketball, at least you are consistent!!!! Rain or shine, you can always be counted on to bad-mouth coaches. First it was Crabtree in football (with the Rolfe tie-in), then it was just Rolfe in Bball, and now you've upgraded to bad-mouthing his assistants. Anyone else you want to take a shot at?

I'm with you starbase... Maybe he should tell the coach himself. My guess is he sits close enough for the coach to hear him and I'm sure his "voice" carries well enough to be heard.

It's really simple for me. I won't allow a troll personally attack coaches and players (behind an absurd chat board name) who are doing their level best to bring good to a community, any community. If he/she continues, then we'll expose all parties involved, including myself, and we'll have an open public debate on the proper way of handling a personal vendetta between so-called community leaders, faculty, admin, etc...and the coaching staff and/or players.

If you have a personal issue with the coach, man-up, and address it directly with him or let it go. Don't be a coward and hide behind a keyboard! No one will win and you know it!! Just know, when you walk into the gymnasium many folks will know who you are and will be watching your actions closely!! :12224
