Congrats to Mark Wiefrich
The senior won the D1 district at Malone as the Marietta boys had to go north for their races. He advances to the Youngstown regional.

Weef has to be the most underated runner in D1. This is his chance to prove he is one of best. If all goes well I see him placeing top 15 at state.

He hasn't run LOW 15:20's but shoot two seconds is close enough for me.
If Wieferich keeps it together, he'll be great at State.
I want to see Marietta's star bring home some hardware this year. Weif definitely deserves it.
I don't want to be a bubble buster, but did the Etta boys team advance and if not how close were they. Marietta has had some great individuals come through, but I'm really waiting for them to have a solid team performance.
Good Luck to the Etta girls!

I would say he has been the most under rated runner in Southern Ohio for the past 3 years! I mean, he has been good enough to go to State and place well for the past 2 years in any other division. But, he is stuck in D1. Which is working for him this year. No one really knows of him in D1 now though. I hope he places really well at State this year.
Where is he looking to go to school?

I hope he stays in Ohio, so that it is easy to track him.

Last I talk to him he was at some school in chicago. He can pretty much go where he wants his grades and scores are almost as impressive as his times.
It won't take 15:20 to place top 15 in DI. 15:40's should do it thats what I see him running at Scioto.
