Can Warriors make a playoff run in 2012?
I think so. Does anyone else agree with me? They return a solid group of guys, and Andy Schob is one of the best coaches in the area. Barring they make the playoffs, I say Warren is a threat to go deep into the playoffs next season. Thoughts??

Warren graduates about 12 players and it looks like there will be some big names missing next year. I don't see them doing any better than this year.

noreply hope you are wrong. But many key spots to replace. Harlow, Henthorn, Buck, Mays, Fivecoait, Hastie to name a few wow. Alot of work to do there are several key players returning. Leff, Miller, Richards, etc. Sooooo who knows. This year was a woulda, shoulda, coulda year. Athens, South, Chilli games could have went either way8-2 was a playoff game season record, but alas 5-5 again. I really do not see the Warriors makes a deep run into playoffs. I would like to just see a game 11 first. Since there never has been one. That would be a milestone. Get there first, then focus on a win, then go from there.

would like to see the warriors make the playoffs, but don't look for it to happen anytime in the near futurre. i believe they will end up 4-6 or 5-5 at best. they have a few returning impact players but lack overall talent to be better than average. victories will come over athens, logan, and philo. maybe over marietta and chilly. but losses to meigs, jackson, gallia, portsmouth, meadowbrook. imo

The Warriors will have a great group of athletes as always. Very disappointing to see such a great group of athletes the last few yrs not leading the Warren fans to winning seasons. Granted the Warren football program has turned around since a few yrs ago. I think Coach Schob is the reason for that, but as a spectator it is very disappointing to see Warren only use their passing game.
They never even switched to their running game when the passing wasn't working. Not quite sure what to think about that, except that pressure being put on Schob to make sure Leffy gets his passing yrds. Warren has always had a good running game, and its very frustrating to watch Leffy make 4-5 interceptions in the game and them continue not to utilitze their running backs. Dylan really needs to work on his looking over the field instead of focusing in on the one receiver. All last season we watched this. Him forcing throws to covered up receivers when there were wide open ones. He has alot to work on to be D1 material.

Thats true slimgarrett, but you can't underestimate talent. I think after Dylan got beat around a little bit, he just got shaken which just messed with his head for the rest of the year. The 2012 season should fair alot better though. I think he will get the mental aspect of the game down and show everyone why he is the best athlete to ever play for a Mid-Ohio Valley high school.

I know Dylan and several of the other Warriors are doing alot of off season training to get ready for next yr. Great work ethic. Would love to see our football team return to a powerhouse they were in the 80's. Its long overdue. Hoping that Dylan and Miller shake off that funk they were in this yr. I'm sure they will. Its more mental than anything else. Great group of kids, and I'm sure all that they are doing out of season will pay off big in season.

2012 is the year. 2013 is the time to rebuild, I wouldn't doubt a loss to the Chieftains in 2013.

It is true the boys are working hard in the weight room but also working on agility skills as well, one note on Dylan for the ones on here not in the Washington County area, Dylan leaves Wed. or Thurs. for El Paso, TX as he was invited to participate in the US Army All-American Combine for high school athletes.slimgarrett wrote:I know Dylan and several of the other Warriors are doing alot of off season training to get ready for next yr.
