Feel like reassessing the Cavs after tonight's win? Or was tonight more the exception rather than a true indicator of the way the Cavs will play the rest of the way? I haven't had a chance to see them yet, but I definitely want to. I know that a lot has been said about Warren thus far, and they have solid wins over Waverly and Portsmouth on their resume; so on paper the win for the Cavs tonight was definitely solid.

I was at the game tonight and witnessed two teams that flat out played their hearts out. Someone told me about this view forum so I wanted to see what type of talk was going on before the game. I get on this website and notice that SEVERAL Warren posters were very arrogant with their posts. Many people thought this game was gonna be in Warren's favor since the Cavaliers didn't have their leading scorer. Everytime I see the Cavaliers, I notice two things about them. They always play tough defense and they play their guts out..

This Chillicothe team isn't like the usual Chillicothe teams we've seen in the recent past. This team doesn't have the great talent besides Malik Londons presence defensively. However, this team will flat out get after you and that is what they did tonight versus Warren. All I heard was Warren was 8-0 and they beat Portsmouth and Waverly. I also heard this Warren team was better than last years Warren team.... WRONG...

The Chillicothe Cavalier record is 7-3, but I am going to list this teams (cavs) schedule that I found on a website. I knew they played tough competition, but all I can say is WOW! Warren needs to beef up their schedule. Look Below..

At Canal Winchester- Win
At Dayton Stivers- Win
At Logan- Win
At Jackson- Win
At Hamilton- Win
Portsmouth- Loss by 2
Akron Buctel- Away Loss
Eastmoor- Loss
Fairfield Union- Win
Warren- Win

The Cavaliers play Dublin Coffman tomorrow, Dayton Chaminade, Gahanna, and Dayton Jefferson in the near future...

Then we wonder why the Cavaliers are winning games against Warren without their leading scorer...

I wonder why..

I think the chilly coach must know what he is doing when he schedules his opponents. I think he has nearly 500 wins and a state ring.

As posted on final score thread:

Official Team Stats from reliable source:

Cavs: 24-45 from field for 53%. 8-11 from 3 land for 72%. 9-15 from F/T line 60%

Warren: 21-46 from field for 45%. 9-20 from 3land for 45%. 5-8 from F/T line 62%.

Cavs shot 9 free throws in last minute of game as Warriors fouled to prolong game. Hot shooting all over the gym tonight and as all ready stated,French for the Warriors was unconscious. However, Elliott and Bixler combine for 44 to offset French.

Chilly slightly controls the boards 25-21 with London leading the way with 10. The most telling stat is chilly slightly winning the turnover battle as Warren gave it up 15 times to the Cavs 13 miscues. Cavs cut way down on prior game performances. With 17 assists on 24 made baskets, Chilly really passed the ball well at times tonight.

Another telling stat is Cavs win points in the paint battle, 28-16. That definitely helps the ole shooting percentages. More shortly from this Cavs fan.

Jottings, trying to get it now. I had the mental picture in my head, but to much Red Lobster warped my little brain. Hope you are doing well. By the way, you have some nice 8th graders coming your way. They are well coached, have size and are athletic.

Bluecavs....your reflections are a little premature....still have one game left between these two teams....Warren has beaten a team that beat you....IMO the big three in the SEOAL are very even and all are capable of beating the other....it has just been done....the next games between these guys will again come down to the 4th quarter and who plays best at the end....don't draw conclusions based on one game or one half the year....Warren will be just fine come tourney time....don't sell this group short....
