its all good... i will be the first to admit i dont know much about ironman football. I liked what i saw this year and wish them continued success. I would rather see a jackson / alder game as a regular matchup.

My son played in leagues against both teams in his HS career. IMO, it will be a very competitive series. I feel that most years Jackson would win, but WJ will win in the years where they have a high level team. The WJ fans are VERY passionate about there team. As good as any I've seen.

If I were you I wouldn't bet money on that Jackson will be the force of seo the next 5 years minimum unlike your beloved wellston and since I'm on that topic why don't you drop the rumors of recruiting by Jackson if I were any kid in high school and wanted to go to a different school were I could actually win why not choose Jackson? Instead of a run down football field with no chance of the play offs against a multi million dollar facillity and a darn good chance of making the play offs every year. #justsaying

4putt - For discussion, please give some reasoning on why you think WJ will win 5 out of 6 games over the next 6 years. You are a fan of increasing the difficulty in scheduling. Do you think the Ironmen are going to be down over the next 6 years and if so what do you base that on?

Quick question and strictly as an outsider looking in; wasn't all of Jackson's football teams undefeated last year? Meaning grades 3-12. I was told they were and was curious if there was any truth to this. If this is true, then I can't imagine any program having down years with stock like that.

Gridironfan - the Varsity Football team went 10-0, the 8th grade team went 8-0 and the 7th grade team also went 8-0.

Pretty sure this is gonna be a Saturday game during Week 3 this season. Looking forward to this game a lot, especially since it's such a short trip for me now.

West Jeff has a great program. Glad to be playing them the next few years.

WJ's Coah is a Jackson Co. boy. Was Quarter Back @ Wellston in the 90's before transferring to Westfall for his senior year. Good rivalry!
