Zanesville went 3-4-1, with three of the four losses coming by a total of eight points, and the tie coming after blowing a 20-point halftime lead. This team basically had no quarterback (the two who played that position, God love 'em, were first-year football players with absolutely no experience at the position), it was almost all sophomores, and at the end of the season the team had to add a couple freshmen when injuries at the varsity level precluded some "regular" JVs to play on Saturday.

Our freshmen went 6-2, too, and our middle schools are doing very well (the two Roosevelt teams are unbeaten, for example). I think we're going to be just fine, at least for a few years.

Looks like Ironton may have a few good teams for a while. I don't know much about the players or anything. However, only two losses and both were to the same school.

Ironton

JV = 4-1 (Ashland, KY)

9th = 5-0

8th =6-0

7th = 6-1 (Ashland, KY)

() = team lost to

Gallipolis finished 6-1, losing only to Ironton in its season opener.

Logan went 3-1.

We had many teams cancel, including Chillicothe, Gallia Academy, Jackson, Warren, and Hamilton Township.

The Braves defeated Lancaster, Zanesville, and Marietta and lost to Pickerington North 12-14.

If West beats Burg friday night, the that will be an undefeated season for Freshman, Jv, and Varsity. Except for a close game with the Miami Trace freshman, basically every other game has been 1 sided. Pretty remarkable.
