Waverly Stadium Project
Re: Waverly Stadium Project
Looks like the foundation/pads for the home bleachers are completed. Anyone know when the rest of it goes up and when it's projected to be completed? The building housing the visitors lockeroom should be about done.
Re: Waverly Stadium Project
The home bleachers were just finished at Wheelersburg and from the time the crew showed up, it was 1 week until completion. This includes all of the fencing around the bleachers and press box installation. I knew it would be a quick process, but 1 week was very impressive. I am not sure if the lights are hooked up or if the scoreboard and sound system wiring is 100% done, but just to have the bleachers completely built is a great start.

Re: Waverly Stadium Project
The bleachers came in tonight, looks like they are going to start tomorrow morning.
Re: Waverly Stadium Project
The crew was there bright and early starting to install the bleachers. They should go up fairly quickly. Does anyone know if the same crew is doing the pressbox? Also was wondering if new cabling was run for new PA?

Here's a few photos of the initial installation today.

Re: Waverly Stadium Project
Bleachers should be done tomorrow with the pressbox installed Monday. Now if we could just get the field house built, the kids deserve better.
Re: Waverly Stadium Project
Pressbox was installed yesterday with some minor work yet to be done to complete the bleachers. Very, very nice bleachers. I am confident this is something Waverly fans can be proud of and will appreciate.
It is still not out of the realm of possibility to have the visitor bleachers erected this season. A prospective donor decision could be made as early as next week and I hear there is a 2 week window to notify the company to install them. It won't take as long to install as the home bleachersas they won't be near as big and no pressbox.
The storage building converted to a locker room will be completed, being painted now.

Hoping there is great news coming out of meetings today and tomorrow. Prospective donor meeting today to decide whether or not to fund the visitors bleachers. Another meeting Wednesday to hopefully proceed with construction of the field house - could be very exciting in Tigertown come August 31st.
If all that comes to be yet this season it would be awesome to nail down donors for turf next season and I really think that will happen.

Work on the fieldhouse has resumed but unless more funds come in it will just be a shell.
