So the original spelling up to the 1870s was Kretzler. Both should be accepted in my book. Please do some research before you start yelling at someone's spelling, when in fact, they are CORRECT.

Well the origin of the family name would be better suited for Jake Kretzer or someone in his family to discuss with you. I'm sure that if they wanted to spell his name with an L his parents would have written it that way on his birth certificate. So i would suggest using common courtesy and spell a persons name correctly. Especially if your going to make negative statements toward someones character on a website like this, when that person is only a high school kid.

The Dec. 9 Notre Dame at Eastern was tight with the Eagles winning by 2 , I believe. Tough to win at Eastern but it's also tough at ND so give the second game edge to ND with a possible tie for first in SOC1. New Boston could possibly enter into the picture as a spoiler but , IMO, I doubt it..
The Valley-Waverly Jan. 17 game will decide the SOC2 and put two QUALITY players on the floor in Yates and Kretzer. Have seen both play this year and am still waiting for Yates to breakout for 30+ in a game. Jake has already been there and will be there several more times ( IMO ) before his high school days are over. Blake seems to want to get the other players more involved and is not shooting the threes like in the past. Have watched these two kids from their first preview game when they were freshman and saw the talent in both. Good luck to them as they move on after high school ball...
