Go Buckeyes!!!

We know all about Nelsonville yorks playoff history now how about LU's?

Actually, I was referring to the statement that NY would be one and done. I was saying this because I was curious if this persons team had even made the playoffs.

But to answer you question LU did not make the playoffs at 7-3 in 2007, same in 2006, DNQ @ 6-4 in 2005 and after further research, I cannot see where they have qualified in this decade.

And before anyone get excited. I don't see this as a reflection of their program. I realize they play in a tough league. I am sure they are a difficult opponent. NY will need to play one of their best games to win.

Go Buckeyes!!!

Of course NY is going to make the playoffs. The TVC is so weak, so when they play someone outside their conference, the competition jumps up numerous levels and they pay for their weak schedule. And I wasn't trash talking NY, I just think that LU will win this game.

If LU were to win, it would be an upset due to the fact that NY is ranked higher.

Explain to me how the TVC is so weak yet 2 teams from that league made the playoffs. the strength of NY's schedule placed them at number 3 with a 8-2 record and would have still made it at 7-3. With the points they have they would have finished in the top 4 in every region in div.5. They have 3 teams on their schedule that made the playoffs, only losing to one of them, Ironton. LU made it in a number 6 with a 9-1 record. They have one team on their schedule that made the playoffs and was beaten by them, West Jeff. LU only beat one team with a record above .500. So if you go on the assumption that the tvc is weak and LU played a tougher schedule, I think you would be wrong. I think LU is a very good team and the Buckeyes need to play strong to beat them but LU wont come to NY and play sub par and leave with a victory. These two teams are pretty close.

Everybody wants to trash NY's schedule this year but they had opponents such as
Piketon, Ironton, and Berne Union added to it.. NY is the smallest school in the TVC and yet they continue to win the title year after year... Obviously those of you harping about the playoffs are not real sure how the system works because you continue to make simple comments that indicate you have no idea what your talking about. One of NY's advantages for making the playoffs every year is that they are in a bigger league... come on folks if your going to talk about things like this then you should have some knowledge of what your saying..

Another thing that I keep reading is about the weak schedule of NY.. When I look at the two teams side by side, NY's opponents are a combined 49-51, LU's opponents are a combined 41-59..... yet eveybody wants to trash NY!!!! What you should look at are the number of teams that put their equipment away every year after week 10.... I think that Coach Boston should be commended for the job he has done year after year at NY, nothing but SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!! What more do you want.

LU is one of the bigger schools in their conference. They have 4 - D6 schools in their league. They have to be close to moving up to D-4 next year because Baltimore is growing. I have nt seen LU play in a couple of years, but I expect this game to be close. Whoever shuts down the run will win. Both programs like to grind it out. Goodluck to the Bucks
