Try leading by example instead of with your keyboards and see what happens.
Better yet you could lead a church........

I must have missed something, because I didn't detect a bit of nasty anywhere . . .
So, nope, that one did not hurt.

taken a step down of schedule difficulty from last year
warrens non league schedule was prob by far the easiest in the league
taking a step down would be playing middle school teams

our DBs have to be better (and maybe faster), but so does everybody else if Warren's gonna win...
now that basketball's over, let the football talk begin...

Point is a former member of the SEOAL. They are AAA in West Virginia this year. Made the WV state playoffs several times. They usually have a quick scat back and a "D" that will crowd the line and come right at you.
And the Tigers played Morgan as recently as a couple of year ago. Did they win?

Off the top of my head, all but one year, and they usually were not even close.
And Marietta has them back on the schedule this year.

Re: 2009 Warren Football
I just wanted to take a moment to thank all the Warren players for the hard work they doing. I hear the weight room is PACKED four evenings a week (only Wednesday off). I also hear that everyone is working hard, really hard.
If you aren't in the neighborhood, you have no idea how far Warren's football program has come in the last few years. Not too many years ago I recall going into the weight room about this time of the year and there was next to nothing going on (sometimes there was literally nothing going on). Not too many years ago we were all worried about having enough players for a team.
Warren has improved steadily the last 3 years, but this can be the year that they turn the corner. They will have a solid group of Seniors that have been in the system and are leading by example. The skill positions will be excellent. The line will be bigger and stronger than they have had in recent history. The underclassmen are plugged in and lifting too. Heck, the Jr. High players are lifting!
We've got ourselves a football program!
Wait and see . . .

I am glad to hear this. Good for you guys, your program, your community, and the SEOAL.
Marietta seems to have the same thing going now too. Hopefully we can both improve and begin to win some more games in the SEOAL and help to improve Washington County Football.
